What a HIKE and what views w
We made it to all three lakes, however The Middle Lake view's was the best with Spectacular views along with the Water Fall. Be prepared for a hike, in all it took us 5hrs...! But we are over 60. Beware the trek is totally uneven.

Joffre Lakes hike is a must do!
This hike is top notch and unforgettable. Its is all uphill, 1,500 feet elevation gain to the top lake & took us 5 hours round trip with stopping to eat and take pictures. Bring water and food. Look for the wood carvings along the way. I had never seen turquoise lakes like these and it was breathtaking. The entire hike was beautiful. We got there at 9 am and there were not too many people on the trail. By the time we were coming down, there were many people. I advise getting there earlier if you want it more to yourself.

Joffre Lake in April is stunning!
Accidentally ended up at Joffre Lake, didn't expect the snow to be so thick. Walking on the icy lake surface for the first time, I couldn't help but worry about it cracking beneath me. The weather was nice, and we could even see distant blue glaciers. Looking forward to hiking here after the snow melts.

It was like being in a painting. Absolutely beautiful. The first lake is so accesible that my 2 year old was able to walk with us comfortably.

Beautiful lakes and worth the effort of the steep hike. Quite busy but we were able to get a car park at 10am.

We had a one night stopover on route to Joffre’s Lakes which was ideal. Loved Whistler from what we saw. Buzzing and plenty of places to eat.

So Disappointed. Turned Away. Travelled all the way from Australia. We read you need to be early as the carpark fills up. Well we left our Whistler accommodation at. 7am and arrived by 8am to a near empty car park. Walked up with our pre purchased Canadian National Park Pass delivered to Australia. We were told they are great passes however this is a provincial park and we need a permit. How much we ask. Oh they are free BUT they are all taken for the day. Thanks alot Canada. Was a great holiday up to this point. We drove off with a real sour taste again to a near empty carport.
