Two of my friends and I took part in the 2hr Green River rafting trip and it was amazing!! Such a cool experience getting to raft level 2-3 rapids, and the scenery was amazing throughout! All guides on our trip were top notch, sharing so much knowledge about rafting as well as their personal experiences. Definitely recommend this trip to anyone who is considering it!!

Wedge Rafting is a great operation overall and the guides take it to the next level. They are seasoned and make it safe and very much fun. The whole thing has the feeling of adventure: the buses, the farm camp and the bumpy roads. Great attention overall. I didn’t partake of the after-meal but it looked delicious. They clearly make a big effort and they succeed in making it a memorable experience

Family of 5 (kids 18,15,12) had a great time shooting the rapids. Totally within the correct range of adrenaline. If you listen to you guide (our's was Euan from Scotland - awesome guy) - you won't be falling out. Even if you did, though, it would have been fun. We did the shorter trip. I think the family wished we would have upgraded to the longer one - so something to consider, parents.

Had a great white rafting experience with this company. I hadn't done white water rafting since my late 20s and now, as I'm in my early 50s, was a little tentative but I needn't have worried. There were 3 smaller boats (we followed each other down the river) - our family of 4 had one to ourselves with our instructor Fry. He gave us clear instructions and settled any nerves as we rowed across Green Lake. We had lots of fun on the rapids, it was exciting but not scary and my teenage sons thought it was the best thing they'd done while on holiday in Canada. The only problem, we'd have liked to have done it all over again! Thanks to Fry and the guides for a great rafting experience!

Voted best family activity ever for our family of five (children aged 12, 13 and 15). Very safe and secure with competent and engaging guides providing a thrilling experience for us all. Shame we were not able to do another one perhaps at one difficulty level up. Hopefully one for the future!

Thank you so much to the great crew who made our trip! One of the best rafting experiences you could ask for. Fresh air, Sunshine, Glacier fed water, and the best views imaginable! 10/10 would recommend, and a must do. I'll definitely be back! Thank you so much Wedge crew for creating a highlight of the summer!

We booked a 2 hour rafting tour on the green river as a family of 5. The tour was marked as a class 2 and 3 rafting experience. We payed nearly 1000 CAD for the 5 of us to join this trip and everyone of us was looking forward to it with excitement. Positive: we enjoyed the trip with a really nice guide and had fun. Negative: the tour was not at all 2 hours and the classification as 2 and 3 must be different to the classification we have in Europe. It was nice but not so much about the rapids: nice but easy (ok and some bumps, but nothing about adrenalin). but: we startet at 12 with explenations, get some gear, hop on the bus, drive to the lake, paddle over the lake.... I think we were hopping into the raft at half past 12 and were back in the camp an hour later. Quite expensive for an hour on the water. We learned, a whole day adventure in the adventure camp is much more worth the money. Only for the rafting it was too much by far. We enjoyed it (thanks to the really nice guides in the camp) but would do something else with the money next time.

Was advertised as a 2 hour white water rafting adventure, when in fact it was just under two hours from the time we were told how to put wetsuits on, put them on, drive to the launch spot on the lake, paddle across the lake, white water rafted for maybe 20-30 minutes, carried rafts up to trailers then drove back to get out of wetsuits. Total rafting time of 20-30 minutes should have been made clear before booking, definitely was not worth the money for this experience. Rapids were about as calm as the ones we would normally tube down on our local rivers.

For $50 more per person, we added the option of wedge rafting to the TAG adventures package we had purchased.
It was definitely worth the money and we all had great time. It was a great introduction to water rafting for our kids and our guide was awesome, I can't remember his name though.
There is three time slots for the white water rafting per day, I would suggest booking well in advance to obtain the 9:30 am time slot. We were unable to get this time slot and booked the 12:30 pm time slot which resulted in us having to cut short the aerial obstacle course in order to make it work.
Keep in mind there will be lines to do the other activities through TAG adventures that can't be booked in advance (ie zip lining, driving Razor's, aerial obstacle course).

Exhilarating and wonderful experience. The guides are excellent ( shout out to Ollie) and it is the most summer fun we have ever had at Whistler ! It was a super hot sunny beautiful day which added to the beauty of Green Lake . The time on the River was perfect with a good mix of white water adrenaline rush and leisurely floating down the river . The adventure group is organized and safe . One disappointing thing is there is zero opportunity to take a picture on the beautiful Green Lake prior to “ departure “ as you have to leave your phones in the locker at base camp ( makes sense as the phones would get wet or lost ) however , this company should have someone take pictures with your paddles and wetsuits on the lake, or even in the raft , or at the dock if nothing else with the backdrop of mountains /lakes. They could easily charge for it and upload it to a site like many tourist activities do . While you can get them to take a picture of you at base camp but it is not nearly a good enough memory wearing wetsuits and life jackets …. As we did in front of a change room or their building . Apparently there is a photographer as we had been told , but there was definitely no photographer . I would even have the shuttle driver take a picture and get him to send it to you if nothing else . This would definitely have been a better memory as it is understandable why you wouldn’t take a phone on the raft with you .
Overall the experience is worth it and great value for adventurers !!

- Are you still operating at this time ?
- What are the water levels in the Green River at the moment , normal,above-normal,below-normal ?

HI, we are a family of 7, the youngest boy is 9 years old, he will be 10 on August 14th, and we are planning to go to the rafting on August 1st, can he ride?
Written July 17, 2018
Hi Pau,
Thanks for your message, yes as long as he weighs over 80lbs you can raft the Green River. It's a fun class 2-3 river with splashy, bouncy rapids but nothing too extreme.
Thanks,
Karen

planning to come up in June, do you have a variety of sizes for the wetsuits? I am plus size and worry I wont be able to wear them. thanks!
Written March 26, 2018
Hi Ekozber,
Thanks for your question. We have A LOT of wetsuits up to a 4XL. Please just bring a swimsuit to wear underneath and a towel to dry after your experience.
Thanks! Karen

Is swimwear necessary? Me and my friend want to enjoy the rafting but we don't have any swimwear and don't wanna buy it just only for this once activity.
Written August 13, 2017
You may be slightly wet depending on the current and have the option of jumping into the river. However, any tight workout clothes will do as they will provide wetsuit and shoes to wear under the life vest.

We did the rafting last week but have not found where our photos were posted, can you help?

We will be there June 20 and will zip line in the morning and do the rafting in the afternoon. What do you recommend we wear? I assume we shouldn't take cameras? If we rent go pros in the morning for sip lining, does the rental includes the afternoon as well?
Written June 4, 2016
Hi Momuv4boys,
For ziplining, we recommend you dress for the weather and wear comfortable, athletic clothing and closed toed shoes. If the weather is overcast and cooler then taking more layers is always a good decision and then you can remove one if you're too warm.
For rafting, all you'll need is swimwear to wear underneath the wetsuit. We'll provide you with a wetsuit, booties, a lifejacket and a helmet.
GoPro's are not available on the whitewater rafting tours because of the water but their are photos taken from the shore that are available for purchase after your tour.
GoPro rentals for ziplining are $29 which includes the SD card to take home with all of your footage.
I hope this answers your questions, please give our team a call on 1 855 824 9955 if you have any further questions.
Thanks!

We are coming from Vancouver so do we have time to take one of your rafting trips and then get back to Vancouver that same day??
Thank you
Jean
Written April 4, 2016
Hi Jean,
Thanks for your question.
We have a few options for you; the Elaho Squamish River and the Cheakamus River leave from Squamish and you can meet at our base area which is the Cheakamus Centre. This cuts down journey time for you.
Alternatively, the Green River which is in Whistler is a 2.5 hour round trip from Whistler village so is also an option for a day trip.
Check out the Wedge Rafting website to find out which river suits you best :)
Thanks,
Karen
