I hired Skis with the help of Rachel Davidson at reception the Sundial Hotel. They were fitted by Jacob in the ski shop under the hotel. I had not skied for 9 years. Jacob gave me excellent advice, he was friendly and knowledgable and completed the fitting efficiently. He advised me to use a more comfortable boot due to my medical needs and these boots were the most comfortable I have ever skied in. The skis were also perfect for my needs. I was able to leave my skis at the shop each evening and my shoes on the last day. Returning the skis at the end of the two weeks was also very smooth and all the shop staff were very friendly and helpful.

Walked into the shop in Whistler, Village, and I believe her name was Sophie, gave us a great overview of where to ski, and where to go. We knew nothing! Skis were awesome! One of us needed to cancel skiing for a day, and it was absolutely no problem getting a refund on the skis. Will definitely work with them again on future trips!

We had not used Black Tie before. Their communication was excellent throughout and they arrived on time at our hotel for our fitting. The Black Tie agent was helpful and friendly. The equipment was modern and in very good condition. My ski boots were brand new. Returning the skis at the end was easy. Overall an excellent experience and we would use Black Tie again.

The staff were friendly, funny and professional. I rented skis and boots due to an airline/luggage issue and the equipment was very good.

I can’t recommend these guys & gals enough. The kit was delivered to our chalet by a great team who really knew their stuff. We then went to the shop many times to swap from skis to snowboards and back again. We were always greeted by a friendly team who were very efficient.

Great service, we were walk ins and got looked after straight away. All the staff were fantastic and would definitely recommend hiring any ski/snowboarding equipment from this team.

Hi, I'm skiing 9 days there with friends from 11th Feb (arrive 10th from Australia). years ago I had own boots/skis but for years now opted for rentals. used to be advanced skier but probs advanced/intermediate now (prefer blue runs now to black). I often have problems with boots. I have wide foot, and wide calves (17" at the widest), a normal ankle and high arch/instep. the last few years rented Solomans- high performance -not sure of model. that were ok-ish (they hurt but I could struggle through.) Like the foot to feel firm in boot for control (dont like to be able to heel lift). I think I'd be about a 26. i'm female-57 y/o and about 5'3" .Can you advise what sort of boots you might have available that would suit me so I can look them up?

You need to contact Black Tie Ski Rentals directly - either a phone call, if that's possible, or definitely by email. They respond very quickly. I am a renter like yourself so I don't know anything about fitting boots. But I'm confident that Black Tie will be able to assist you especially if you give them a heads up before you go.
