This was the ultimate one stop shop for our first visit to the Whistler bike park. The bikes where VERY good and well maintained and even after multiple days of smashing and bashing the trails in the park they took it all and where ready for more.

We took a guide for the first half day and as a guide Austin was a legend. We had multiple skill levels and he helped correct our technique and showed us the best trails to ride of and then gave suggestions for the next day and a half )including a few hidden gems).

We had all the safety equipment we needed we good quality helmets, armour and even water bottles provided. They will be the first stop when we come back next year.

I booked a day of mountain biking with a guide for my 15 year old daughter. She had a fantastic time with her guide Lizzie, who was brilliant (really experienced, friendly and had done 8 summer seasons on Whistler). The booking was very smooth, the bike was great and it was a great experience. Thank you!

Great professionals here!!! Anna helped me pick out the right bike for our adventure, at the various experience levels for our group and helped me to determine the amount of time we needed. These are great people, highly recommend.

We (a family with 2 teenage boys) hired 4 bikes over 3 days from Arbutus. They were a mixture of Yeti and Knollys.

We booked in advance (recommended). On arrival in the shop, the staff were great and our breaks and pedals were set up and ready for us to go.

Sadly on the second day I injured myself (putting my bike on the lift) and couldn't ride on the last day, we didn't expect it but Arbutus gave me a refund for my bike hire - certainly made me feel better and paid for a physio session. The bikes were well maintained and all the staff were very helpful.

Can't believe I didn't get any pictures of the bikes - sorry!

Absolutely fabulous experience! Professional and polite staff online and in the shop. I booked a MTB Skills Coaching – Trail/Enduro session and had a lot of fun while learning. Jamie is an amazing coach and person. I would gladly ride with him every week.

It was my first time in Arbutus Roots and I eceived warm, friendly and helpful customer service. I rented a Yeti which was the perfect bike for Whistler's playful and diverse trails. I would recommend this store to any mountain bike friends passing through Whistler.

It was our first time mountain biking in Whistler and our local bike store in Victoria recommended Arbutus Routes and they did not disappoint. Our guide, Jolan, was extremely knowledgeable and super nice. He taught us all the basics and we had a lot of fun. He even adjusted the tire pressure on our bikes so that they would handle the terrain better (something we didn't even think about but made a HUGE difference). By the end of the 3-hour lesson, our 12-year old daughter was doing B-Line, and for the next few days we were able to tackle pretty much all the green and blue runs at Whistler, and the skills we learned kept us all safe. My husband had so much fun that the following week he went back to Arbutus Routes and took a jumping lesson with Alistair (also an excellent instructor) and did a jumping clinic.

11/10 We did the 5 hour guided ebike tour and it was fantastic! We saw so many new places in Whistler. Our guide Alistair was very knowledgeable about Whistler past and present, and also quiet funny! A great day was had by all. We will definitely be doing this again!
