Top spot for yoga
Jun. 2021
We come here every time we visit Whistler. Their studio is spacious and clean. It's centrally located and the instructors are highly qualified and professional. They offer classes, private and online sessions. We usually book private sessions and have Maeve as our instructor. They are very accommodating and Maeve suits each session to our specific level. A trip to Whistler wouldn't be compete without Yogacara.

Amazing instructors, owner and studio space!
Jan. 2021 • Solo
I have come to this studio a few times and each time I am more impressed. The space is warm and welcoming. The instructors are always well qualified and do a great job (Adele was really wonderful this trip). And the owner is so responsive and accommodating.

In COVID times small businesses are suffering and Yogacara is going above and beyond to create a safe space for fitness and relaxation.

Please go if you get the chance!

Hidden Jewel
Feb. 2020 • Solo
Yogacara is a hidden jewel amid the mountains, snow and ski runs. Beautiful space with amazing genuine teachers. Loads of classes and most run 75 mins which is bliss. So glad I found this wonderful space. 🙏💕

An oasis in an oasis

I am not a skier. I found this place close to where we were staying. A weekly pass was very affordable and I enjoyed six excellent yoga classes delivered by different teachers with different tastes but each of whom was committed to giving everyone a great experience. I was blown away to find such a special place at a ski resort. It really was absolutely fantastic.

15 wonderful classes!
Apr. 2019 • Solo
My wife Angie no longer skis with me and goes to yoga classes instead. This visit she found Yogacara and during our 10 days managed to fit in 15 classes! Many different teachers with different styles - all very good. She also had a private lesson with our daughter Faye as a Mother's Day present so a particular thank you to Maeve. On our next trip to the beautiful village of Whistler she will be there!

Feel like a local whatever your Yogie journey

If you feel like a need to slow down after a busy day on the hill, tub park or dog sledding or cross country skiing lots of OR's. I have traveled all over but Whistler has it all and Yoga in the Village is a must. You will leave in just such a peaceful mood with a smile weather just instructors kind word or just feel of that was just what I needed.

Call or book online since it is a small space, but lots of class choices.

Great space, small and serene. The classes are capped to 15 participants. All props including mats are provided. Great personal attention due to small class size. Located in the heart of the village so easy to access.

Great Alternative Activity in Whistler - Rain, Snow or Shine!
Jan. 2018 • Family
My mother-in-law and I purchased the week passes for unlimited yoga here and had a wonderful time with all of the instructors. From the relaxing restorative yoga to the hatha and vinyasa classes they had a good assortment and fair number of time schedules available. Also super helpful to not have to bring your own mat especially for non-locals!

I would recommend for men and women, beginners to expert-level. Probably only teens over 16 with some experience with yoga.

Using the online booking system was useful - especially if you're coming from the states and don't want to use minutes on the phone! The location is also super convenient in Whistler Village.

They have an elevator up to their second floor studio as well and no stairs around the back entrance.

I'm looking forward to coming back here next year!

One of the Best Places to Practice!
Oct. 2017 • Solo
This is a great place to practice because it's in the heart of the village. There aren't many Studios in Whistler that are central now. This is a great one with very relaxing vibes! They offer an abundance of yin and deep stretching classes, which is awesome for a full day on the bike park or skiing the mountain! Great view out into the centre of the village!

Andrea does such a great yin class! definitely drop in and try it out after a vigorous day of riding! :)
