This is a nice gentle walk from the car park at the head of the logging trail to the Lake itself - wonderful walk through Old Growth forest with our daughter, her boyfriend and his parents, The road up is gravel and the odd pothole,...More

First, the road to the parking lot isn't as bad as some have reported. I got up there in a Nissan Sentra no problem, just dodge the bigger potholes and take it slow on the slightly rougher sections. The hike was a mostly easy/moderate one...More

This hike is mistakenly marked at a moderate level but it is far more strenuous than that. Hiking over the hills along the lake give you awesome views of the mountains. This trail also leads to the camping areas. Sitting along side the lake was...More

We did this walk after visiting Whistler - unfortunately we only had time to walk into the lake and walk out again, about 2 hrs round trip - but you can make a day or half-day of it by continuing on the path that runs...More

This is an easy hike through trees (not much open sky, so it's cool in the summer). The lake is beautiful and terrain is a very gentle up and down. However, you may not find it if you're from out of the area and follow...More

More of a walk than a hike in my opinion, but that will depend on what you're used to! The trail starts at the end of a 6.5km forestry service road. From there it is a well maintained path which starts wide but narrows slightly...More

Pretty easy trail leads into a gorgeous blue lake. Its a short hike in to the first half of the lake, and a bit further to the other end. I recommend it for families or anyone wanting to escape the crowds.

This hike was moderate with a few areas that are pretty steep, but it is so worth it! We went early in the morning. As we were leaving (around lunchtime), the trail was much more crowded. Several spots to stop for a beautiful picnic.

We picked this hike to rest our legs after exhausting ourselves at the Stawamus Chief the day before. We're a bit unsure about the unpaved road, but it really was not that bad if you don't go too fast. We drove our rental economy car...More
