Had the chance to visit Whistler on a business trip and was looking for a quick and easy adventure you can do for a couple hours in Whistler. Paddy was a fantastic guide and the bikes are AMAZING!! We were taken to a couple lakes and scenic spots and got to learn a little bit of history of this beautiful place.

A great way to get familiarised with everything whistler has to offer outside of the village itself so I suggest doing this tour early in your visit. The E bikes are in good condition and easy to ride. The tour is quite fast moving and covers a lot of ground which we appreciated. The business is operated from the tennis club which wasn’t obvious when we were given joining instructions for the tour so the location was a bit hard to find at first.

Reading other reviews I can see there are variations of opinion regarding the quality of information provided by different guides. Our guide was “Ash” who we believe owns the business. “Ash” did an adequate job but we did get the opinion that he was a bit “long in the tooth” and perhaps a bit bored with conducting cycle tours for keen newcomers to Whistler who are hungry for information.

We enjoyed seeing areas of Whistler that you wouldn’t see on foot. Beautiful lakes for phot o opportunities.
We had expected to be with a group which may have been a little more fun but we were the only couple with Ash for an afternoon tour.
E-biking was new to us so the bikes took a bit of getting used to, but once we got going we were fine. (We are in our late 50’s)
Ash had told us he was not feeling well and he wasn’t up to chatting to us much that day. He admitted that normally he would have told us a bit more about places.
We thanked him for not cancelling on us!
Maybe the company should have back up if a tour guide is not well?
Tips to others; take your own bottle of water. Although it says water is supplied in the notes, it means water stops are provided to fill your own bottle.

Although the bike tour and the guide (Pat) were awesome, we were left with a bitter-sweet experience thanks to the rudest telephone operator/customer support I have ever expereinced. We were unable to find the exact spot upon arrival (Google maps took us to a place behind the racket club) and so I called the store asking for directions - the guy responded in the most unprofessional and condescending manner (literally raising his voice nad repeating the same thing "COME TO THE FRONT, THE SIGN IS OBVIOUS". I had to remind him we were tourists and new to the place and hung up on him. Till then, we had had a fantastic experiecne in Whistler and everyone was kind but this guy clearly woke up on the wrong side of the bed!

Have been having a wonderful holiday in Canada and Alaska until today!! We have had a number of excellent cycle tours so far on our trip so decided to do one in Whistler. What a mistake!!

We booked the tour a few days in advance and were emailed the day before asking if we would switch from 9am to 12 noon. We replied saying we could do that no problem.
Our “guide” was called Ash and here are the main issues we experienced:-
* only 3 stops on the entire 2.5 hour tour so very little information about Whistler and surrounding area or photo opportunities. When I said to Ash 1-2-1 that I felt we needed to be given more information, he said he didn’t feel well so wasn’t up to it today!!
* two of our group fell behind Ash and the other three of us but he didn’t stop to wait for them.
* one lady fell off her bike when we were standing waiting to cross the road. Ash showed absolutely no concern for her, indeed the others in the group helped the lady up with her (heavy) electric bike. Ash then just rode away with us following.
* on two occasions he left us (for 5-15 minutes each time) and said he had to go somewhere.

I checked that all the others in the group (two from Canada and one from Denmark) felt the same as my wife and I and gave him feedback at the end. He showed no interest and even failed to apologise when invited to do so. He told us to get away and never come back. We reported this very first negative experience of our extensive trip to Tourist Information so that they are aware of the attitude of this guide (and possibly his company). A very rude and arrogant man, completely opposite to everyone else we have met in Whistler and beyond.

The positives are:-
* the 15 mile route was mainly off road and excellent.
* the bikes were fairly new and excellent.

Clearly, the tour should have been cancelled if the guide wasn’t feeling well. There are plenty other cycle tours in the area so I’d suggest to shop elsewhere if you are thinking of a tour.

Highly recommend! Great way to enjoy all Whistler has to offer. With all the winding trails, we would have gotten lost on our own or spent most of the time looking at the map. We got to see areas that we would not have normally thought to go.

Had our first ever e-bike experience touring beautiful Whistler with our guide Paddy - superb local guide who really knew the area. E-bikes great ( looked pretty new) and easy to ride. Everyone was new to them so, after an introduction to the features, we all took a few minutes to get a acquainted with them. Our tour included many beautiful spots, lots of stops, and riding all sorts of trails. Great tour.

It was an awesome experience! Our first time on e-bikes and we had a great guide, Paddy, who showed and explained a lot around and about Whistler.

HOWEVER, these bikes are bigger and much heavier than the old bikes we are used to. Be sure you can handle them. One of our riders was not able to. Even though she passed their height requirement, the bike was too large and heavy for her and she fell three times just trying to get it going in their driveway. She was not able to go on the ride. And even though the cancellation was because of equipment and not for a personal reason, the company would not give her a refund.
My advice? Go check out the bikes in person if you are not sure about handling one of them. Or if you have any reservations about riding one, don’t try it.
