Logan was absolutely fantastic! We fished with him for 4 days and it was great. He did everything from pick us up, to change things in the fly when the conditionals weren’t optimal. Very knowledgeable guide that worked hard to get you on some fish, all while teaching you the essentials! Will definitely be back for another trip with Logan and Trout Country!

Logan did a great job with my son. They had a good time and caught some fish even though it is a slower time of season. He was patient and worked hard at finding the fish.

What a super day out with Mike. We visited some of the most amazing countryside I’ve ever visited, and had a selection of rods, patterns/fly types, so had a range of options. Mike took us to his notable spots on the river, and we caught a number of Rainbow Trout, which made my day !
The whole experience , from the original booking, to the pick up from the hotel in Whistler, to the local knowledge of where to go, was fantastic.
I’d really recommend this company to take care of your fishing needs.

We had a great morning out with Logan and Mike. We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 11, 9 and 8. Logan was extremely patient with the children and my son managed to catch some fish. It was a very relaxing morning and although we didn’t all catch fish it was a relaxing experience. The children all loved it and haven’t stopped talking about everything Logan taught them on and off the lake. I would definitely recommend this company, we were all total beginners, I thought both Mike and Logan explained everything really well and I would definitely book this excursion again when we’re back in the area. Thanks guys!

Slaying bows all day long! Logan the guide was an incredible source of knowledge and experience in teaching basics and more technical aspects of fly fishing in my private charter - one for 3 hours and one for 5 hours in Whistler. Punctual pickup in his vehicle with all of the gear which was all well maintained and worked well, intimate knowledge of the local lakes and specifically where to go and how to get to the great fishing spots at those lakes. Patient teacher and he knows how to explain things clearly to me (beginner to fly fishing). Plus he has great chatter and banter when the fishing was slow. I really recommend his company to experienced and novice fisherfolk alike and I can't wait to book again for ice fishing this winter!!!

My son and I had a fantastic fishing trip with Mike yesterday. We went fly fishing and even though we were absolute beginners, we caught some rainbow trout.
Mike explained every step very well and by the end of our short session we were able to cast and catch the fish.
I will certainly book another trip with Mike.

It was a perfect day. Logan communicated really well since I've contacted him the first time.
The nature is beautiful and although I didn't catch a fish on the first spot, I'm glad that I went there just because of the breathtaking scenery. After some time of unsuccessful casting, Logan took me to the backup location and we've hit the jackpot there. I've cought a few trouts in less than an hour, and a few more (including the biggest one that day) unhooked themselves before reaching the net.
I was impressed by Logan's dedication to the nature and the way that he treated fish, making sure that they are hurt as less as possible.
I would recommend this to everyone and will definitely book another toure if I ever visit the area again.

Did a 5 hour trip with my Mom. We were complete beginners and Logan was super patient, and a great teacher. It was a pretty cold and rainy day, but the river and mountains were stunning. Communication was great, and we were picked up and dropped off at our rental house.

Great day out with Logan! Friendly, a good laugh, and very knowledgable about fishing and the area in general. Landed 5 fish, from 3 out of the 4 pools we fished. Would be hard pressed to find a better day out.

Thanks so Much Nathan, it’s always great to be out on the water with easy going clients and of course when the fishing is good it’s just the icing on the cake.
Thanks again.

Is there upper age limit for fit seniors? Beginners for fly fishing but have done deep sea fishing. Price for 2 person for 3 hour trip? Thanks
We don't have an age limit, as long as there aren't mobility issues age really doesn't matter. If there are mobility issues, you may still be able to fish in a belly boat on the lake. But you would have to be able to walk on uneven grounds and get in an out of the boat from a low seated position. We can attach your boat to the guides so they can help move you around the lake. We will always try to accommodate anyone but want to ensure that you are still safe.

How is the fishing in early june? Appx cost for a short trip 4 to 5 hours. Two men and two women. Minimal fly fishing experience. Spinning equipment would be ok with us. Thanks Clint Coffee

Hi Clint thanks for reaching out.
Fishing can be quite good in early June.
Our lakes are warming up and the fish are hungry.
We have a three hour tour that would cost $139.00 per person plus 5% tax.
A five hour tour costs $195.00 per person plus tax.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
We would love to get you out on the water.
