We had seen the Audain main collection but revisited as they had a "Pop" art touring display which included such artists as Warhol and Lichtenstein. Very interesting.More

The super-high quality building, in design and construction fortells of the unique collection of BC coastal nations masks and decorations. Then there is the Emily Carr collection of paintings, most of west coast salish sites. And - "POP" - the collection of modernist artists. Andy...More

Visited this gallery this morning and thought it was excellent. There is a real variety in this gallery but the thread through the permanent galleries draws you from First Nations art into other galleries. For me the Emily Carr room was a welcome new discovery,...More

We went to this place because we thought that there would be some contemporary art pieces which they do have but only 1 section was opened and we could complete the whole tour in less than an hour. For the prices that they were charging,...More

The architecture of the building is the best part. It is certainly centered in BC art, going from First Nations art from the mid 1800 and early 1900 up to contemporary art. Not that big and pricey for how much there is to see.

I really enjoyed looking at the art. There's a great Jack Shadbolt and a very unexpected Lawren Harris work on display. Definitely time well spent.

This museum is incredible. The permanent collection is amazing, and the travelling exhibitions have been outstanding so far. I didn't go in for the architecture, but it was also a major highlight. What a wonderful addition to the Whistler Village!

While not a fan of Emily Carrs darker pieces ad style there are many unexpected galleries with a broad range of art. Love the Hughes pieces. Truly a definitive BC Gallery.

We didn’t expect much. We went because it was raining/snowing. It was great. The building, the grounds, the art. Loved it. Plan on spending about 2 hours.
