An excellent evening spent alternating between warming in the yert over snacks and wine and going outside to enjoy an incredible light show. Dave, our guide was knowledgeable and thoughtful. A great experience.

Caleb Ross created an amazing and thoughtful multiday adventure for us during Churchill’s aurora season - four nights of aurora photography, snowshoeing and hiking, dog sledding, and more. Host, guide, and an incredible connector … we would work with him and Nanuk Operations again.

Caleb who's running Nanuk Operations have proved himself absolutely indispensable for our team, our work here and not at least to secure our contents for the tv documentary we're here to do. Caleb's been fixing us up with everything and everyone and clearly knows what he's doing. Caleb's running tours for both polar bears and aurora adventures and I would just love to come back for this as well. Top service, professional and a very friendly attitude (as everyone in Churchill). Wonderful place!

I spent one day with Nanuk Operations owner Caleb Ross on a group polar bear tour. I was a single and joined 6 other people in a van tour. It was EXCELLENT! I am a serious photographer and with Caleb being a photographer himself he really knows how to get the best shots. He also seems to know how to find the bears to get the shots! He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the bears and as a local Churchill resident and long time bear guide he really knows the ins and outs of things. I had a great time and highly recommend Nanuk Operations!

Strongly recommend. I booked the wildlife tour with Nanuk and they made my day in Churchill a lifetime memory.

I was not able to book those tundra buggy tour due to my limited time in Churchill. Nanuk offers tours in smaller groups which is something really matters to me so I decided to give it a try. Their online booking system is very smart, I got the confirmation right away and followed by a reminder message one day before the trip.

Our guide Jamie greeted me and other guests at our hotel on time. He is fun, easy to talk to and really went above and beyond for his guests.

The cool part of being in a 7-seater van is FLEXIBILITY. There is NO fixed routine! Jamie knows the hidden trails and paths like the back of his hand. He knows where and how to wait for polar bears for the best shot. I can't say enough thanks to Nanuk.

My first day touring in Churchill with Nanuk Operations was fabulous. Guide Jamie was very informative not only about Polar Bears and other wildlife in the area but also knew a lot of the history of Churchill. The company provides Safe and ethical viewing/photography opportunities of wildlife keeping in mind the wildlife and clients at all times. Had great sightings of various wildlife including a Polar Bear. Highly recommend this tour operator.

We had the pleasure of having Caleb as our tour guide this week and he did not disappoint. Not only did he have 10/10 banter, he was able to conversate with every one of us on tour about something whether it was birds, geeky Sci fi movies or teaching me how to use binoculars (have to start sometime right?!) He had snacks on board and hand warmers for when some of us were struggling with the cold wind!

He went above and beyond looking for polar bears, there were times where he left us in the vehicle and went above and over rocks to see if he can find any polar bears. We saw a variety of wildlife. He was able to give us the history of the tour, the effects climate change has directly on Churchill and also gave us some fascinating information about the way in which polar bears have have noticed to be hunting for food in the Hudson Bay Churchill area - he was fantastic.

Thanks Caleb - to the guy below who claims Caleb has no bird knowledge and rated him 2 stars because of it, I'm astounded! Assuming the birds you wanted to know about were not regular birds, it was months out of bird season, and Nanuk are known to bring in bird experts for the entire bird season so maybe you should look for birds in bird season next time, not polar bear season. Caleb cant know it all but he impressed us with his polar bear facts and finds and other arctic animals 😊

Thanks to you all 😊

I have to say our photography trip to Churchill in search of polar bears was spectacular. Caleb, our guide and owner of Nanuk Operations was the best you can get. We always felt safe and he was constantly looking out for the best adventure for us. From watching a bear being lifted by helicopter to a safe place, to spotting bears 300 or more feet away. His team was also excellent. I would put this trip on your bucket list. An adventure of a lifetime.
