- Simona PLondon, United Kingdom98 contributionsMust see for native crafts and cultureSmall but extremely informative museum, packed with artefacts from native peoples. As I wrote, it is small but you can easily spend hours there, as there is a lot of items. The staff is at hand to provide explanations. Make this a stop if you visit Churchill. We visited as part of an organised tour so not sure if the place has free entry - but in any case, it is very much worth paying an entry fee. It has a small gift shop too.Visited October 2021Written November 3, 2021
- Teresa GWinnipeg, Canada11 contributionsMust do museumExcellent museum. For such a small museum they have an amazing collection of carvings and artifacts. Staff was very knowledgeable. It’s FREE but accepts donations. A must do if you are in Churchill. We bought a beautiful jade 4way dancing bear carving. If you are looking for something unique to take home and don’t mind some money this is the place to do it. They had an amazing selection of carvings to choose from. They also had a great selection of historical books. We even bought sweatshirts and tshirts from them.Visited August 2021Travelled with familyWritten August 6, 2021
- climber_in_CHSalida, Colorado1,158 contributionsSmall museum loaded with interesting stuffDon't be deceived by the size of this museum, there is a great deal to see here. We had a brief talk from one of the staff then didn't really have enough time to see everything packed into this place. Some lovely local art too. Don't miss the gift shop.Visited October 2021Written October 31, 2021

You can spend as little as 1/2 hour to all day at this small museum. The collections are unique and very well displayed. The staff is passionate and it shows.

This out-of-the-way Museum may look small and unassuming from the outside, but it houses so many well-done and interesting displays! There’s no way to see them all in just an hour. If you’re in Churchill or the surrounding area, this is a definite must-do.
The gift shop in the corner was also a great spot for Christmas shopping. Enjoy!

Small, beautifully presented, collection of First Nation art and history. So many tours and activities make it difficult to visit here when open, but very much worth making it a priority when planning.
Shop has lovely array at very competitive prices.
