Discover a green oasis in the heart of Winnipeg. This nine-acre (3.6 hectare) park, which encompasses open green spaces and tree-lined walkways, is a national treasure owned and operated by Parks Canada. The forks is a gem. There is so much history and things to see. Shopping has everything you could ever wish for. Restaurants with outdoor patios on the river are great.

We went with our grand kids and to walk around the forks is worth it , but this monument is underwhelming and not worth the only thing to see. If your going to do other things st the forks then yes it's worth it .

We have stopped in and out of Winnipeg for the past 25 years and usually make a stop at the Forks. Not much has changed, all the same little shops. This time we were greeted by a balloon twister who was very entertaining.

Lots of activities take place here such as dragon boat racing, music offerings, buskers, etc. Quality hotels are close by. It's a cool place right on the Red River with connecting pathways leading along... More

The Forks is a fantastic place to go any time of year! Take pictures of the changing seasons. Outside, you can skate, walk, or bike. Inside, take in the smells of foods from around the world & have a taste of what Manitoba food producers have to offer. Relax & smile at passers by while you listen to buskers' music.... More

The Forks is a great market, shopping, people watching, strolling and eating place. You can have a drink outside in the summer and just watch people go by. Activities are always at the Forks, entertainment and cultural events.

Hadn't been in the forks buildings for a while and was pleasantly surprised. Seems there is always something going on. This is a great place to eat! There is all types of food available from local vendors - fresh - organic - gluten free - you name it. You can even get an all day breakfast! They have added a... More
