I went to see a musical at the best live theater in Western Canada. They do dramas, comedies & musicals. The theatre holds 787 and it's the best.

We love to go to the MTC and enjoy the benefits of a season of theater. The facility has great sightlines. We prefer to sit close to really be able to see the acting. We might lose out on some of the impact of the bigger sets but enjoying the actors up close is worth it. They provide a nice... More

Enjoyed another great evening at the theatre with a group of friends. We truly enjoy this venue, it is quaint easy to move around, good services offered before the play and during intermission. seats are comfortable, site lines are very good. Everyone should make it a policy to attend at least one show per season. We find the prices to... More

Royal MTC has excellent acoustics and the lighting and sound are always on par with anything on Broadway. We did not care for the subject matter, seemed to be a lot of screaming and swearing, but have kept our season tickets anyways. Looking forward to the next show.

I haven't been to MTC in a few years but always enjoy it. There are no bad seats in the theatre, the acoustics are wonderful and the seats are relatively comfortable. Parking is always a bit of a nightmare but it is a 20 minute walk from any downtown hotel in nice weather. The show we saw this time (Boom!)... More

The Royal MTC is a gem. We've been annual subscribers since moving into the city in '98. The six plays each year are a treat. We find there are a one or two standouts, a few good ones an one 'stinker'; however, the adventure is going and discovering. We've been treated to some amazing performances over the years. The facility... More

My wonderful children bought me a ticket to see a play at the Manitoba Theatre Centre for my birthday. The play they chose was "Unnecessary Farce". My ticket was in centre front, row 4... an ideal spot so see and hear everything. I laughed so much throughout the whole play..it was an absolute riot! There were only seven cast members... More

Last night I went to " Billy Elliot the Musical". The tickets were part of my season ticket package; normally I don't buy tickets to musicals as neither myself or my husband are fans of musicals. Well I have to say I was blow away as was the rest of the audience, we gave a standing ovation and recommend Billy... More
