took our family through the museum, highly recommend the audio tour! Well kept and very interesting to see the victorian period of furniture etc. the gift shop was also a pleasant surprise, and there was also a travelling exhibition of wedding dresses from the manitoba costume museum. Very well done!

A nice little tour of the life of the better off in Winnipeg in the 19th century. Beautiful in the summertime with people in costume on site to enhance the mood. the tour staff are very knowledgeable

Great experience. $5 worth the 45minute tour. Lots to learn but the location (house) is amazing! Most of the antiques are ordinal from the late 1800s! Surprise, good experience worth a look

One of the absolute best restored old houses in the 'Peg. You can just imagine yourself in it back in the day. A great visit at Christmas as well.

Dalnavert House on its own is an amazing attraction, but do it at night in the witching hours as a ghost tour and you just created the start of a great story! This house has so much history, detail and spirits?!!

We visited Dalnavert during Doors Open Winnipeg and it was worth another visit as we only saw a limited amount at that time. Last Wednesday, we visited the museum and took a guided tour of the mansion. There is free parking on the gravel lot north of the house. Signs are posted. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the house... More

Nice historic place. Loved the costumes and it was interesting the way people lived in that time period. Would strongly recommend a visit when you are in downtown Winnipeg. Lovely shaded trees for a hot day.

For a turn of the century home this was probably a castle to those who saw it. I would love to live in it. The craftsmanship of the home is superb. It's furnished with pieces to match the date it was occupied by the prime ministers son. Absolutely stunning. Don't go if you don't have time to take it all... More
