First of all they need to do something about the traffic getting into the park for a performance, especially on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. They need someone directing traffic on Main Street to allow people to turn in. We were in a line up for over 30 minutes. The performance of Shrek was highly creative and tons of fun for... More

If you're a visitor to Winnipeg, Rainbow Stage is a summer must! It's a unique experience that you don't get in many other cities. It's an outdoor venue and each summer they offer 2 difference shows (musicals). This summer they offer Man In Black and Shrek. We went to Man In Black and the performers were amazing! Literally the main... More

Over the past few years, this company has been pushing past excellence in their shows. It reinforces the fact that Winnipeg has such amazing talent and is proud to showcase that talent in the largest outdoor theatre in the country. I can't wait for this year's shows: Ring of Fire and SHREK.

Obviously, it was a well-received production based on the fact that the schedule was extended a couple nights. That being said, we found the dialogue and vocals high-pitched and "screechy". One might expect this to some degree since the cast is primarily female voices but the sound quality eventually became irritating. The set designs are very good although at times,... More

I have been going to shows here since a child. The "outdoor" venue (has a rooftop but is open aired) located within kildonan park makes for a great evening enjoying one of their ever changing productions. Tip: if you are able to bring a small seat cushion as the chairs are unpadded.

Rainbow Stage has put on 3 great shows this Summer. But Sister Act tops their Summer with GREAT ACTING, and STRONG acting performances. This is a show worth seeing! There are only a few shows left.....It would be worth you time and money to go and be entertained thoroughly!!!

The musicals at Rainbow Stage are always incredible. The cast is always top-notch. It is always top professional quality! I have never seen a show I didn't like. We were at "Sister Act" last night and loved it! The music was amazing. We did find, for the first time ever, we were seated in seats where it was very difficult... More

We went to see "Sister Act". It was very entertaining, with bouncy music, and capable singers and instrumentalists.

Rainbow Stage is a Winnipeg staple and the staging of musicals is a summer must see and do. Our family tends to take in the "dress rehearsal" sponsored by the Assiniboine Credit Union which is one of the theatre's supporters and provides its clients with a discounted ticket for the performance. The latest production is "Sister Act", continuing a long... More

The event I saw was a live show at Rainbow Stage . The production of Sister Act was excellent. I went to an evening performance that was about 2 hours long. The only draw back is getting out of the park after the show is over. It took me about 45 minutes to get out of the park as the... More
