Picaroons award-winning traditional ales are made with the finest quality malted barley imported from England and Germany. Whole hops are imported from England, New Zealand and the west coast of North America. Plus they use a signature Ringwood Yeast and New Brunswick's deep well water. Picaroons is New Brunswick's first new generation micro-brewer. As part of the Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE Network, visitors can tour the 6000 sq. ft. brewery and talk with the brew master.

Food was very good, the beer was excellent and there was a great view. Handy to the old train bridge. Service was a bit slow, but the weather was good so it was nice to sit in the outdoor area.

The evening we visited Picaroons there was a fairly small crowd. There is no table service so you need to stand in line to order. There were 6 people in line including us. We were ordering beer and dinner and some were just ordering beer....More

It's a taproom and cafe that parents seem to enjoy taking their children to. The view is nice. The beer is from Picaroons, NB's famed no-longer-very-micro brewery. There is coffee, presumably fair-trade, because look at these f'n hipsters. No food appears to be prepared on...More

Decided to stop by the Union St. location and support a local brewery and was surprised to find a nice cafeteria style eating place. Smallish menu, mostly of what I would call Yuppie food. Consists mostly of panini, hand pies, curry bowls and salads. Tried...More

The selection of beers and ciders at pickeroons is impressive and of course there are highlights. One that was a very pleasant surprise was the Scow Cider produced in memramcook . Think about the perfect hot sunny day white wine and you now know what...More

My husbands new favourite beer, great layout, awesome beer and a great gift shop. The walk across the bridge was worth working up a sweat to chase it with a cold one. A must try for sure and the view is awesome.

We decided to walk over the pedestrian bridge to The Roundhouse for lunch...and, although the location is stunning, the menu is really not worth the effort. We were hoping they would have outdoor seating as we were walking our dog. They have a huge terrace,...More
