Love it there in the summer . Lots of festivals and family events. Even in Winter. Harvest Jazz and Blues events , craft fairs, ice sculptures, free public out door skating. Great place for family and friends to gather. Perfect location downtown Fredericton.
A very unique experience in a Canadian capital. Great to see the marching, the gunfire, and imagine life during colonial times. After the show, you can actually sneak up and take photos as the soldiers stand still. Be respectful though.
there are always events going on in Officiers square. summer are out door concerts, movies and variety shows. In winter I have been to camp fire sing along during frostival a winter fest in February. Currently the Canada 150 sign is up for selfie pictures...More
It i8s a nice place to go for a summer concert all you need to bring is a lawn chair or blanket. Some lawn chairs are provided by the city of Fredericton for visitors. There is also a museum that one can visit.

When in town for the weekend, we saw the officer's review (which was wonderful), as well as two free concerts. There were many other events- we picked up a flyer at the NB tourism station in the park for a schedule.
