A beautiful park in the middle of Fredericton. Perfect for a hike of an hour or so as well as outdoor play time with the family.

I love the variety of trails to explore and especially appreciate the mature trees of the Wabanaki Forest.

Frederictonians are blessed to have Odell Park within walking distance of the city center. It offers many kilometres of beautiful walking trails, a botanical garden and a lovely area for picnics. It is a great spot for a family outing or meeting up with a friend.

We had a great hike around Odell Park. It was lovely with very few people around. We visited in late June and didn’t know how bad the mosquitoes would be then. If you visit around that time, you may want to protect yourself before walking in the woods.

This is a lovely park - great for walking, running, taking the dog, or biking. The trails are well marked and maintained. There is a large parking lot and public washrooms. It is connected to the Fredericton Botanical Gardens which is nice and has some educational signage.

Just beware, on my visit in early June the mosquitos were aggressive (and it was a chilly morning, so I was quite surprised)!! I heard locals talking about how this year there are far more mosquitos than usual and they usually aren't this bad in early June. So definitely bring some bug repellant if you are prone to getting bitten!!

Beyond beautiful. The park is well groomed and affords a wonderful stroll to see the stunning scenery views. I saw more large dogs here than any other park I have ever been to. (And that’s a few). There are picnic areas, a beginner disc course to play, a goldfish pond, kid’s play park and botanical garden on a hill that is worth a detour to see. Enjoy.

This is our favorite park in all of NB and we visit it each time we return to Fredericton, a few times per year. We especially love the huge Eastern Hemlocks and love getting lost in the array of trails and finding some geocaches too. We appreciate that there's public washrooms available year round as well.

Following a lunch get-together with family and friends, we decided to head to Odell Park to do a little bit of trail-walking. Some of the trails are beautiful, but could also stand to be a bit better marked. Also, one needs to keep an eye out for dog poo; it seems that a number of people walk their dogs here without cleaning up after them. The aforementioned noted, however, it was a worthwhile visit, and we will quite possibly be back on another visit to Fredericton.

Had some extra time to kill before going to my destination and decided to go for a walk. Not being familiar with the park decided to pick a direction and head out. Wound up walking up a long hill that got my heart rate up and found me breathing harder. Noted there were a number of side trails branching off, but decided to see how far up the trail I was on went. Got to the top and turned right, ultimately winding up wandering through the Botanical Gardens before reconnecting with a trail that took me back down to the parking lot. Good workout in a very relaxed setting. Will explore further on my next visit to the city, and may even try riding my bike in the park, as well.
