With some newly renovated and restored spaces, this is a fantastic opportunity to see a piece of New Brunswick's history. Keep in mind that this is a work space as well as a heritage space. There may be areas that are off-limits if they are already being used by staff or politicians. There is lovely wood paneling, and a magnificent... More

Went as a multicultural class trip. The guides are very good and glimpses into the past are very interesting especially about the fire, the chandeliers and the sword distance between the opposing parties on the floor.

Lots of history, Legislative Library celebrates 175 years this year. Great place to visit for all ages. Elevator available for those who need it. Only freestanding circular staircase in Canada to climb.

Enjoyed visiting the Legislative Building, and although it was a self tour one of the security guards was kind enough to give us some welcomed history of the building and items within. I would recommend the Legislative Assembly Building to anyone travelling to Fredericton as a good place to spend some time.

My wife and I found the free tour of the Legislative Assembly building a definite highlight of our day in Fredericton. The employees were all extremely nice and our guide was professional and could answer almost any question - even of topics not related to the building itself. The majestic staircase was amazing to stand on, it was a little... More

I had a rather young, but nevertheless, friendly and informative tour guide. The staff and security guards were also quite friendly. They allowed us to enter the building without our IDs even though we were required to have it. There were also not many visitors here so we got a private tour of the Legislative Assembly. :) It is a... More

The legislative building was very interesting for a bit of a history buff. Also from a local perspective it was all that more interesting to get local history, Corben, our tour... More

Actually haven't been here since 1974. I don't know if they still allow tours into the dome but that was one scary climb.

One of the most beautiful legislatures in Canada, worth a visit even when the House is not in session. Interior architecture is breathtaking. Nice little gift shop with some unique items.

Thank Debbie J
