The Garrison district when we were there was only a place for craft stores inside the old garrison buildings. The shops were interesting and some of the pieces were great but we had hoped for more to be going on in the event area but....

Nice area to explore and see the history of what was once in Fredericton. Nice old buildings and very large and twisted trees that are very old.

The Garrison District has numerous things to do of interest to adults, kids, and even intelligent teenagers. The changing of the guard being one. This is not the Buckingham Palace version, this is more realistic, reflecting life as it was in the 17 and 1800's....More

The old stone builds are excellent for photography years round. The barracks have become artist craft shops in the summer month.Guard house and armoury in great condition Officers square is now New Brunswick Museum. lots of activities in the square year round

The Garrison District is a collection of between 5 and 8 small stalls occupied by local artisans. A great place to pick up something special for a yourself or a loved one if that's what your after. Its not usually that busy. They host movies...More
