I visited here, after attending the opening sessions of Indigenous Peoples Day, at the Legislative Assembly Building, downtown. There are numerous small gardens and various trails, both along the river and in wooded areas of the park. It is across the street from the Town Plat, so elements of Fredericton's history may be gleaned here.

A very nice stop, suitable for a stroll and a break on a long road-trip. It has public washrooms, a splashing pad, shaded spots and benches.

Great for kids! Swings, slides and splash pad! Although splash pad is closed.
I played in this park in the 1960s and took my kids there when we would return to visit my parents and I took my grandchildren here and they loved it as much as I did.

The best place you can gather with your friends and your family specially the summer time when the splash water is running

My family comes here often in the summer with our young kids. The splash pad is great, as is the playground. We spend hours here at a time. The paths are also throughout the park, some paved, others walking through the grass.
The garden areas aren't kept up this year which is too bad.

Great place for a little stroll on pathways that wind through the green space and trees. Lots of benches, a little gazebo, tennis courts, a playground and splash pad for kids and more. Has a nice vibe.

Great city park with lots of green space and a large new (2017) splash pad. The splash pad is great for older kids but for the young, 3 and under a separate wading pool would be more appropriate.

This park offers fun for the whole family! It has a water park, playground, tennis court and lots of space for picnics and relaxing under a tree! I spend time there with my family as much as possible.

nice park with lots of options but family misses the pool. Splash pad is well made but cold water so mostly people standing around looking vs playing in the water. the pool was always full.

We love coming to this park. The splash pad is massive and there is a great playground. Our only complaint is the lack of places to eat. There is only one picnic table we know of. There are lots of benches so we generally use those or picnic in the grass.

Is anyone able to use the gazebo ? We were hoping to have a bday paty there
Do I need to let someone know that I was planning to have my daughter's birthday party there? Am I able to have picnic tables brought closer to the splash pad for us by someone that works for the park?
