Great place for a family outing. Some lovely trails that a partially shaded. Good animal displays. Not a big zoo but for our area it is a little gem that our whole family enjoys.

Even through it is a small zoo. It is very interactive. There are a lot of things for the children to do. Since it is a small zoo, you get to see the animals up and close. It was my first time attending a zoo...More

Smelly animals that stay in their cages. Not much to see for the price I paid. Signage is old and needs updated.

We try to go every year. Plan to spend at least 2 hours visiting all the animals, the gift shops nearby, great food stands. We were there in mid-May and it was a beautiful sunny day. Very family-oriented.

Hello I would call ahead to book as the zoo is very busy during the summer with both visitors to the area and locals attending as well. I am not sure if they are shared or single kennels. Hope you enjoy the trip

We do not allow dogs in the zoo and have kennels in a shaded area free of charge. If the puppy is very young we can keep him/her in the office in a kennel while you visit the zoo.
