Every bit a pleasure....
Aug. 2021
Resurgo Place has been described as “a state-of-the-art facility where Moncton heritage, technology and discovery intersect”. I was here at opening but because I was told to be at the Tidal Bore early (my next stop), I had to rush through the museum. It is worth seeing; but be aware of the Covid-19 protocols in place. Great service from Sophie (Tidal Bore) and Joanne (Gift Shop). I found these sections very interesting - Commerce and Industry, Police, Children’s section (I am a little bit of a child), Interactive exhibits, “Those Trains”, Fun facts and so much more. Next time, I am going to plan it better. Resurgo Place houses both the Moncton Museum and the Transportation Discovery Centre

Pleasantly surprised!

So impressive! I learned so much about Moncton and I've been living here for quite a few years. The displays were very well done, staff friendly and helpful, and the museum itself quite easy to navigate. The amount of things to see and read in the heritage gallery was unexpected. I especially enjoyed learning about Moncton's shipbuilding history. The curation of the permanent collection was thoughtful and engaging.

Had a blast!

Went with my 6 year old daughter and her friend. We had a great time exploring the whole museum. The staff was very friendly. The girls were very curious about all the old artifacts. Honestly, I don’t know who had more fun, the kids or me! Highly recommend.

Good place to spend some time with grandson
Dec. 2019
Spent a couple hours here with my grandson. We both enjoyed ourselves with a variety of interactive displays. We learnt a bit about the history of Moncton as well. I was not impressed by the front desk person at the start however as we were overcharged and not directed to where the starting point was - not overly helpful that is fof sure.

Interesting local history section
Aug. 2019 • Family
This museum has a very interesting local history section, that is well worth visiting.

In the science / transport interactive part of the museum again some interesting information and displays, unfortunately at the time we were there a children’s party was going on. No problem with that, great opportunity to get hands on, only issue was they weren’t being supervised for a chunk of the time and were running around playing hide and seek. Basically meant we didn’t spend as much time as we would have liked in this section. Could also hear them when we were upstairs.

Awesome Museum and Transportation History Centre
Aug. 2019
A great museum and discovery centre. Lots of hands on stuff for kids to do and learn with. Admission rates are a tad high, but there is lots to see and do. They have great summer camps for kids, our grandson just finished 2 weeks there and he loved it. It was through Snapology, a really cool robotics lego hands on program. Resurgo has senior rates of $8 and on Wednesdays it is 50% off. There is a transportation discovery centre also, very interesting. I would recommend this place to everyone, young and old alike.

Great Local Museum
May 2018 • Family
As recent arrivals to the city our favourite bit of the museum was the huge map of the area in the floor. We must have spent a good 30 minutes identifying spots we had visited and then places for our next adventures. All the exhibits are interesting and well laid out. The guides are so knowledgeable and interesting. Overall a great place to visit.

Interactive and fun!
Feb. 2019 • Family
We were looking so something fun to do with the kids today, it being family day weekend. We came across this hidden gem! Not only were my kids free ( ages 3 and under) but because it was family day weekend we were 50 percent off! We paid 10 dollars for a few hours fun! My toddler didn’t want to leave. He kept bouncing between all the interactive activities they had. He especially liked the launching rocket and the car race. My daughter is almost a year and she enjoyed the toys in the learning centre and the special exhibit which was “night” themed and we were told this changes monthly to keep things interesting. We will definitely be going back! We also liked that the lockers were made available to us for free, and the gift shop was the most reasonably priced one we’ve seen! Lots to do there for adults too. My husband and I decided we should go back to explore just us because the kids just wanted to keep moving. Staff were very friendly and helpful also :)
