We stumbled upon this park by mistake. Very interesting history, lovely setting, they even have a restaurant there, which I was surprised to learn is run by a non-profit society. If I lived in Saint John, I would go often.

I was pumped to go to Stonehammer Geopark - the office is at the museum. Driving all the way here I was told that there is no actual 'geopark' the 'geos' are everywhere including Rockwood Park. It's not an actual thing.

Access the fundy Drive at St. Martins, and don't let the folks in Sussex visitor info tell you there's no place to stay in St. martins.

Nice photo of the cliff face explaining the geology and showing the geological features. Then the nice beach and rocks for collecting. There is great fast food near by. Great spot to spend an afternoon.

A definite must, especially for families. Lots to see and do, from the outdoors to museums and cultural things. Kayaking is the most unusual and a great fun transportation you can imagine for travelling back in geological prehistory.

Great geologic history, and also history of geology, all well explained in booklets, brochures and on information panels at some of the sites.

Have to make sure you check the tides table and get there before the tide starts to come in. We wanted to see the caves so we had to go through a little bit of water to get to them. Well worth it. Spectacular view.
