Great stop while in Saint John to see the tide level changes and the impact on the river. Great viewing areas down by the water and also up on the cliffs and the bridge. We stopped and ate lunch at the onsite restaurant.

A strange phenomenon, but you really can't tell the reverse of the waters unless you stay there most of the day. If in the area though its worth a stop.

Although the Reversing Falls is not actually a waterfall it is truly a phenomenon worth seeing and this restaurant has the very best view to see it from! With walls of glass overlooking the swirling water below you'll be enchanted by the ever-changing ebb and...More

Fabulous. Unusual yet mesmerizing water currents. Not sure if boat rides like those offered in Niagara falls are available. Would Definitely take advantage.

This is an absolute must see if you are here. Of course timing is the most important thing in order to catch high and low tides (6 hours apart). This was truly a breathtaking experience and I was fortunate enough to be able to catch...More

We had a good lunch but the chowder was in a large fancy bowl and a small amount. I had to ask for a roll or bread.it's very pricey. Coffee $2.50 and all desserts were $10. Service good.

The reversing falls is well worth checking out around high tide. The area has lots of information about the ancient history of the area and provides nice views. There’s a nice walking/running/cycling path from downtown much of the way there.

You will not be thrilled if you come here at the wrong time. The reversing rapids occur when the water from the bay and the water from the river are at different heights thus causing the best rapids action. Check the tide schedule before coming...More

I thought Hopewell rocks was the better of the two. Reversing falls is cool, but to see it at its best you have to time it completely correct. Hopewell rocks are similar with having to look at the time, but it has a lot... More
