New Brunswick's Festival Place welcomes you to enjoy a taste of Market Square's finest as you shop, eat, play, and explore! Open from first coffee 'til last call, seven days a week, year round, we are proud to act as the cornerstone of Uptown Saint John! It's the perfect place to shop, dine, relax or play. We've saved the best for last, though: one of our finest features, the Boardwalk! Head out to our waterfront patio for some delicious food from our world-class chefs and a refreshing pint of Moosehead, and any other favourites to whet your whistle!

Saint John was our first major stop on exploring the maritime. So we came to check out the Market square, quite an interesting place. What can you expect...well a lot! They have the waterfront, a mini light house, a very nice mall with art, decorations,...More

This is a nice area. There is a small mall with interior walkways if there is poor weather. There are several places to eat, shop, and even swim! But if you are looking for places to eat I would avoid the area just due to...More

We were in Market Square coming and going to dine and to the museum while visiting St. John. We loved the street art, especially the tall "clock" with sculpture "people" seated at its base. The entire area is inviting.

Market square is a gorgeous place to visit! It feels more like a gallery mall in the UK than just a collection of stores and restaurants. An added bonus is the fantastic New Brunswick museum and the library, which I highly recommend. With plenty to...More

We visited the City Market and then followed the underground passage leading to the Market Square. What a lovely venue for the people of Saint John with the Library, Museum and shops as well as restaurants so readily available in one place.

Checked this place out while on business. You can go through the market from the Hilton without even going outside by using all the downtown pedways. Lots of nice stores, shops and restaurants within the market.

Not a great mall, but if you're in the area anyway, a decent place for a stroll. The statues near the entrance provided a fun photo op for our party of six who had just come off a cruise ship. This was a place we...More

Breezed through this property on our way to the Loyalist House. A little local mall with a library, housing the New Brunswick museum, some restaurants and a Tim Hortons. Has a cute little inner courtyard with fake fall flowers and tables. Fine spot to rest...More
