New Brunswick's Festival Place welcomes you to enjoy a taste of Market Square's finest as you shop, eat, play, and explore! Open from first coffee 'til last call, seven days a week, year round, we are proud to act as the cornerstone of Uptown Saint John! It's the perfect place to shop, dine, relax or play. We've saved the best for last, though: one of our finest features, the Boardwalk! Head out to our waterfront patio for some delicious food from our world-class chefs and a refreshing pint of Moosehead, and any other favourites to whet your whistle!

Some interesting history in this area, but we did not find it very engaging. Shoppers might enjoy it more.

How sweet to be able to try at least five different styles of salmon - maple candied is wonderful! Staff selling the seafood were helpful and friendly - thanks!!

Old warehouses beautifully restored house the Museum and many restaurants and shops. The location is perfect, the view on the Bay of funny from many terraces is memorable. The lovely Harbour Passage is near-by.

Must see if you like to shop and have lots of money. Some very cute original stores in there like the little shop of science and Paddington Station. There are some nice clothing stores as well but they can be expensive. Would definitely recommend. Mondello...More

A great shopping Centre with everything you could possibly want. 3 stories with escalators and elevators and a massive parking garage. Huge food court with selections galore. Right is the heart of the downtown ( they call it uptown).

This is a typical stop on many tours. It is centrally located and many local products are sold there. Things are reasonably prices and some are specific to the area.

What a great place to see - make sure to check out all of the carved statues as well as across the street at the General Store. Market Square has some great pubs for dinning in as well as drinks.

I loved the old buildings around the city. Very quaint. Although this market is much smaller then St Lawrence market in Toronto, it was lovely to walk around. All the vendors were very friendly, chatty, and warm. The wheelchair accessibility was fine. Along with goods...More
