Char met us at the ship and started with a tour of the city of St. John. Then on to the Reversing Falls to see them at low tide. On to more interesting locales in the area and the to St. Martin to see the caves and have lunch. The tides were out there also, but starting back in as a boat was on dry land when we arrived and was afloat when we left. After a detour to do us a favor, we went back to the Falls to observe there movement at high tide. She was very knowledgeable of the area and an ambassador for St. John and Canada.

Char was a great tour guide. She knew everything about Saint John. Our tour was the City and Highlights, the Bay of Fundy Coastal Drive to the Village Of St. Martins and the Sea Caves. She took us to the Saint John City Market, Kings Square, The Reversing Falls Rapids,The Caves Restaurant (Delicious Seafood Chowder), The Covered Bridges,...This is a great tour to take when on a cruise. Char was waiting for us when our ship docked and had us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare.

I called Char to book and she was already taken, but she immediately found a friend to help us out. We had a very nice ride around town to see the historic places, then over to reversing falls, and then up the coast to see the Bay of Fundy. Jack was a good substitute for Char, he knew the out of the way places for the views that the buses can't get to. We had a great time, so much better than on the bus, off the bus. I highly recommend Char for her great service with the booking and her help with taking care of us. Char and Jack have made us want to come back without the ship controlling our time. Thanks, Char very much.

I did a lot of research on guides before I picked Char for our private cruise excursion. What a great day! Char took us all over Saint John and also stopped at a great place to eat on the bay for lunch. My family ranging in age from 10-76 loved her. Don’t think twice, BOOK HER!

Char is simply awesome! Knowledgeable, personable, entertaining and accommodating. My best friend’s name is Penny. Well, Char is my Canadian Penny! Planned our tour around our interests, including a stop at Moosehead. She is a great tour guide and fun.
She also has a brand new van with heated seats! How can you go wrong?

We booked Char months ago after reading the reviews. We were not disappointed. We were on a cruise and wanted to do a private tour. She followed up with us pre-cruise vial email and text. Very professional. She was so nice and sweet! She was there on time and took us to see more then we thought we would see! Out of the way places with beautiful sites and no buses! We also beat the buses to the sites they went to also. She is local and has so much knowledge of the area. It was awesome learning so much about St. John. We saw the reversing Falls and Bay of Fundy and the caves and so much more in between. We also had an amazing lunch at Seaside Restaurant & Take Out. The best lobster roll I have ever had. Very friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again the next time we go to St. John! Thanks again Char!

This lady has more knowledge of St John than anyone! We had the best time learning all the details and history of this special town, and it's clear that Charlene loves St. John big time!
She is highly entertaining and can talk non stop for 2 hours or more. We saw the reversing falls and learned of the histories of heritage homes along with the little details you don't usually learn about the city.
There is no way you would get this much info and entertainment if you went on a bus or walking tour. Also, the vehicle she uses is so comfortable and roomy..totally great!

Char is very knowledgeable of the area. She met our group of 5 cruising friends as we exited the ship. Two couples and a single lady, 60ish and ready to see the sights.
As soon as we were loaded in her minivan, we were off on our tour. Her enthusiasm for the area is contagious and she is a wealth of information.

Char was an amazing host! She was waiting for us at the docks, and was ready to go as soon as we got off our cruise. She took time to explain the history of every site during the excursion, and provided excellent company for our journey. We covered a lot of places during the excursion, and are very grateful for her wonderful hospitality and personalized touch. We highly recommend Char for anyone who wants a friendly, and knowledgeable tour guide for Saint John, New Brunswick. Thanks Char for everything!

High tide 11:13 am
Low tide 5:25 pm
The most popular tour is the city highlights and coastal drive to St. Martins to walk on the ocean floor.
Suggesting that we start at 8:30am.
We can start with the Reversing Falls and enjoy the awesome history with some stops including the City Market, Martello Tower, Fort Howe, Imperial Theatre and a few more.
Then off to the wonderful coastal drive along the Bay of Fundy with a few stops at fishing harbours and amazing beaches. Driving through a few Covered Bridges along the way.
Arriving at The Caves, you can get to walk on the ocean floor as the tide will be going out as we drive along the coast. Bring along some WATER SHOES.
We will have time for a light lunch at The Seaside Restaurant for their Worlds Famous Seafood Chowder and delicious Lobster Rolls in their Air Conditioned dining room.
Then we will head back to the city for another visit to the Reversing Falls to witness the phenomenon of the tide change.
Arriving back to the ship at 2:30 pm.
This tour is $360 CDN. 6 hours in duration for 1 - 6 people.

Thanks for your inquiry regarding a tour on September 21, 2016. I have another group that has also made an inquiry for that very same day. I book on a first come basis and so far they haven't made their deposit on their tour.
I see your ship is Serenade of the Seas and your in port from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm (our time zone)
Low tide 9:50 am. High tide 3:58 pm.
If your interested in a whale tour, we would have to go to St. Andrews for that excursion.
