- Wlad FToronto, Canada62 contributionsSand beach + stormOh I had a lot of fun. First, you have to pay for parking if you're coming before 4PM. There was a snack shop (burgers and chips kind of thing) and a gift shop. simple but nice. I loved the infra-structure with showers, foot washer. washrooms and it all. It was empty (pretty much) at 10 AM, and we had an easy time finding a parking spot and a place on the sand. Yes, send beach! haha OUT OF SUDDEN, a storm hit the beach and we had to run to get our stuff to shelter. Rain drops we freeeezing, but that's fine.Visited July 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten August 16, 2024
- Joann GNewtown, Connecticut302 contributionsGood for swimmingFantastic beach to swim at on a hot summer day! Relatively flat water on the 2 days we went. This is a shallow beach, allowing for waters to not be so cold inside the Northumberland Strait, and very easy waters to float. We marveled at the clean beach. This was a ‘must do’ on our itinerary in this area.Visited August 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten August 28, 2024
- Milie BMontreal, Canada4 contributionsAffordable and uncrowdedVery well maintained beach and beautiful marine life! We went on a Tuesday and Friday then it wasn't too crowded. Amenities like changing room and bathrooms are well maintained as well. Admission costs $20 a day.Visited August 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten September 4, 2024

We came to this beach late September and unlike previous Septembers, this was rather cold after storm Lee.
We enjoyed a quiet stroll on the beach and noticed the many facilities for people here. There was no fee for parking at this moment in time, in high season I would expect this place to be in demand which we really do not like as we tend to always keep away from crowds or screaming kids to enjoy nature more.

It had been 40 years since stepping onto the sands of this beach. It really has not changed very much over the years. Shame on the Provincial government for charging the $ 13 per car to use the "free" beach. This day was a mix of dark clouds, changing winds and being in the low 20s so we didn't wade far into the water this time. Beach was busy but not overcrowded. Small canteen on one end along with washrooms (under repair) We'll be back in warmer weather.

WOW
I never traveled out of the Province of Quebec, I never knew we had such a beautiful beach right here in our Country.
This beach is great, it has a canteen, clean washrooms showers at a cost of 1$ for 5 minutes.
This beach ⛱ is very deserted in the mornings and was great for some meditation.
it starts to get busy around 1 pm and goes on well into the evening.
There an on-site canteen and sometimes they have live music.
There were a lot of small crabs in the water.

Do you like to swim in feces? Neither do I which is why I’m never going to Parlee Beach again. There was a certain odor in the air in Shediac and along the beach. Couldn’t put my finger on it. Then I stopped to read the signage at the beach and started a Google search. The carefully worded signature is just a cover to hide the fact that human waste is leaching into the water and tourists are essentially swimming in it and for the low low price of $20 (park admission fee per vehicle). No thanks!

Spent all my summers as a youngster at Parlee Beach. Returned there today (first flight from Canmore/AB in 3 years to check it out. It looked even more beautiful today than 70 years prior. Lovely boardwalks, public bathrooms immaculate, lifeguard on duty and attentively doing his job. Did not visit concession but am guessing fries would have tasted awesome. Talked to a gal at the entrance gate to the parking and prices appear very reasonable at $13/day to enjoy this wonderful beach. Campgrounds close by. I parked on one of adjacent little roads, as just wanted quick access for nostalgic memories. Why we look at beaches in Cuba and Maui beats me with Parlee Beach in N.B.

Big beach with lots of space and lifeguards. However we were told that the entire beach is not pet friendly while there were other dogs running around the beach. Somehow they chose to tell the only visible minority with a pet on the beach that it wasn't allowed. No signs and nothing online indicating that the beach wasn't pet friendly.

Beautiful beach. Clean. Scenery is beautiful in the evenings with sail boats, sunset. The new Euston Park has added to the atmosphere with great beer & food. (Maybe a little expensive but quality is there)

Came here last week during a visit into Shediac. Beach was very busy, clean, and organized. Staff members at the gate were friendly.
Water was very refreshing and clean. I highly recommend anyone coming here to enjoy a nice vacation.

Stunning beach. A MUST go to. White sand and clear warmest salt water north of Florida. It's a huge beach with clean washrooms/change rooms. Entry to park is $20 for the day. Lots of parking available. Didn't want to leave!

Amazing beach - warmest water in Atlantic Canada (even in late June was warm enough to go in).
Shallow gradual beach, fine sand, and VERY CLEAN! You can walk out quite far and the water is barely deep enough to pass your knees.
The parking area, washrooms, and canteen/restaurant were all kept very clean which is great for families. Noticed a small playground just before the sand with children playing.
Been to many beaches (Florida, Dominican, etc) and this is one of the cleanest everywhere. A lot of care is taken to maintain this and it shows.

Probably, but it's one of the few beaches I know that is cleaned mechanically in peak season (of seaweed mostly, so I don't suppose it goes very deep)

Can you take dogs on the beach
Written June 9, 2018
Part of the beach is park where no dogs are allowed. Part is not, and there are lots of dogs doing their doggy things. On a hot day, people park their boats off that section as well..
