Nice fairy easy hike from downtown taking about 30-40 minutes. Can take the paths for more challenges which I did. Great views.

It is good to visit. If you visit windy time, be careful you will be literally be blown off your feet. 😣

Stunning views - we lucked in with a great day. Well worth the walk Took about 20 minutes to walk up. Note stop at the Geo Centre on the way up for washroom as there was not one at the top..

Awesome views...in most weather...have a bird's eye view of St. John's harbor. Walking/Hiking trails, history museum, store Newfoundland goods and you can see whales and/or icebergs if you time it right!

Essential spot on your discovery visit to St John’s. Spectacular harbour views, well marked walking trails of varying difficulty, excellent gift shop with local art, good parking, and well placed historic plaques to understand the significance of this landmark site.

It was very cold when I visited St John's. Walked up the hill but had to call a taxi to return as it was just too windy and cold. The winter wind will push you back a few steps and freeze tears to your face...More

As far as I'm concerned, Signal Hill is a must for the view. The Rooms was good, but exhausting to see it all and if you're not into museums, don't go if you only have 4 days. We took an O'Brien's Bay Bulls boat tour and... More
