One of the most beautiful hikes in St. John's. Going up is a better exercise. Only takes about 45mins to 1 hr with enough time to take pics.

Bring your running (most comfortable walking) shoes. The terrain is not for the faint of heart. The views were breathtaking, walking from the Cabot Tower around the point into town was well worth the extra distance. Lots of people, all of whom were very friendly. Had the pleasure of hearing live flutes and drums being played at the bottom of... More

always a plus to see whales in the ocean swimming by - beautiful views from the buildings - ocean and inland - great photo ops here - and it was free - last time we went you had to walk most of the way up the hill - now you can drive :)

One of the must-see attractions in St. John's. Very scenic and historical. Accessible from the city downtown by foot or car. Visit in the morning for clear and picture-worthy pictures of the downtown and harbor.

Incredible view of both the coastline and the city of St John's. Can be very windy at times, so come prepared. We went 3 times during our 1-week stay...just couldn't help going back for another look. Must go at night time as well if possible. Visitor centre is excellent - great Newfoundland Chocolate and ice cream and can watch the... More

I walked up Signal Hill twice. The first time, I went up the road to the Visitors' Center and then did the rest of the climb on the footpaths. Then I walked down on the East Coat Trail. I wish I'd thought to wear a hat and bring water (it was sunny and warm), but the beauty of the views... More

I've visited this site numerous times. It's simply gorgeous. The views and trails are great. The renovations are complete.
