Interesting approach !

There's a small interpretive display upstairs, and an amazing glass wall view into an active river system with lots of fish in the basement that is worth the trip. There are also a few smaller indoor tanks with some local river creatures living in them. It's a great visit and not too expensive, if you have an hour to spend.

Built beside and beneath a small river, you can get a fish-eye view of the residents of a creek, especially the brown trout, and learn about this ecosystem. There is also a large pond with pleasant walking trails.

We must have visited 20 different aquariums around the world as we like aquatic life and yet we were pleasantly surprised by the Fluvarium . It is small and simple but what makes it unique is that what you see is the bottom of a river that flows alongside the building . We were fortunate enough to be there at... More

Wow, I can not say how impressed I was to have attended a wedding here, not what I had expected at all. The whole venue was fantastic from start to finish. The setting was amazing, the room was perfect. The food and service was top notch. While I had heard about the food, I had not had the chance to... More

Primarily a window into the river where you can see wild fish, but all the staff were very enthusiastic about explaining everything.

A sweet nature centre, small and quaint and worth the visit if you include the surrounding nature park. Worth a stroll with kids or a run... super quaint. It was neat to see the trout under the river and I think young kids would love the frogs and small aquariums set up there. It's not large, nor is it filled... More

This was right across from the RV park I was staying in and was a great destination on a rainy day. The staff were very knowledgeable and since there weren't too many people there I had one of them almost all to myself. Arrived just a feeding time and that was great. To be down under a river and see... More

The exhibits are geared to kids 5-10. Less stuff to keep parents occupied. The view of the local stream is what is intriguing, but we were there are the wrong time of year for the fish. Its a good rainy day activity.

I went there on a Saturday afternoon and it was a really nice visit. They have a small tour on the different sea creatures that they have there and also do a feeding to the fish there which was cool to see. There is also a walk around small exhibition/tour you could do and it is just nice to see... More

Since we were camped at Pippy Park, we could just walk over to the Fluvarium. It's all about water and fish and has some good displays and walking trails outside of it. Nice way to spend a few hours.
