Its the heart of the entertainment downtown St. John's. Toe tapping music awaits you. The choice of establishments varies, its hard just to pick one or two or three actually.

In the daytime, George St is a nice stroll for families to go to the pubs for lunch or brunch, but at nighttime, its an adults only playground. Hotels within a close walking distance are The Jag, Delta, Murray Premises & Blue on Water. The...More

I didn't find George st. all that impressive. I guess if you're in St. John's you should take a walk down the street. Although, I would take water Street restaurants over George St. Bars.

Looking to party or visit a few good bars? Visit George St. while you're here and you won't regret it. There are a few (I believe) pub crawls you can join, that include activities along the way.
