Our favourite for Newfoundland entertainment was O'Reilly's. Servers were great, but the live music was traditional and fun. Highly recommend!. Don't waste your money with being screeched in and the other bars. Unless you like being ridiculed.

Just wondering around at any time is an experience. Lots of activity going on. Only complaint is that there are too many pan handling going on.

Yes, there are lots of pubs, side by side. Yes, lots of music happening. And the establishments do vary. However it is somewhat seedy. Actually, George Street is about the length of a soccer pitch. If even.

This is a must place to visit if you are in St. John’s. The street is full of bars and restaurants. Make sure you visit Brian at Christian’s bar for a screeching in ceremony...he is far and away the best. You will not be disappointed.

What a fun street! We missed the festival, but it was still fun to hear all of the live music. We visited a few of the pubs and had fun in each of them!

This is the place to go for great restaurants, a fun evening and if you go at the right time, you will catch a music festival. Night life at its best in St. John's.

Wait until the weekend! Was pretty dead on a Monday. Trapper John's was excellent and I got screeched in there. So much fun!
