Thank you for your Iceberg Quest inquiry. June 1 is a fabulous time to see icebergs based on previous years. Peak iceberg viewing season is mid May to late June through to early July (Mother Nature dependent of course). Peak whale viewing season is mid June to mid August. Whales are often spotted outside these times.
Iceberg Quest has an extraordinary track record of spotting icebergs and whales, and on every departure our crew make the extra effort to encounter them. Due to the nature of the ocean we cannot guarantee that you will spot an iceberg or whale on a particular departure, but rest assured that Iceberg Quest will give you the best opportunity to see these icons while you visit Newfoundland.
We also encourage you to follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and bookmark the Iceberg Quest website to view fantastic photos and videos from last season, additional information and latest events. In season there will be real time whale and iceberg updates posted daily. Our Iceberg Quest crew looks forward to serving you in one or both of our locations:
St. John’s & Twillingate, Newfoundland during the 2018 season!
Have an awesome weekend!
The Iceberg Quest Crew~
