Alexis Templeton Studio: Shop and working pottery studio. A creative space, the studio always features Alexis’ latest work as well as interesting pieces by other potters and a selection of very fine chocolate. Visit Year-round - please consult the website for current hours. 75 Quidi Vidi Rd (near the foot of Signal Hill)in St. John’s, NL. Note on Covid-19: Outside of essential workers, visitors to the province are prohibited at this time. Those with special exceptions to travel are expected to isolate for 14 days. We are happily Covid-free right now!

Alexis' art is lovely. She offers space in her studio for other potters as well which must speak to her character as an artist. We ate from her plates at Raymonds and now have a bowl at home.

Fantastic pottery with crystalline glaze made on location. Lots of functional dishes and mugs. Some have Newfounand motifs. E.g. Starfish, salt cod, sea

There was a wide selection of gourmet dark chocolate. We tried a sample that was quite good.

This shop was just doors away from our AirBnB so of course we stopped in. For whatever reason, we look & appreciate good pottery but haven't yet bought any. This shop was definitely a place for good pottery & we did appreciate it but - no sale

Our friends took us here and it did not disappoint. Beautiful pottery pieces with good price points. We bought a few pieces for home and Alexis wrapped it up nicely for our flight home. We also bought some unusual gourmet chocolate as gifts. Alexis is so friendly and full of energy. We loved the atmosphere of the store.

I love this quaint little store on Quidi Vidi Rd. Alexis is one of the nicest people I have every met in this city, she is so talented, she is more than happy to talk to you about her work and the work of other artist in the province. She has a very hands on approach, when visiting this shop, it will be like dropping in on an old friend, how happens to make some of the most beautiful pottery you will ever see.

Alexis Templeton's pottery is stunning -- and unique. As someone who's just starting out in pottery, I'm in awe of her gorgeous glazes. If you're looking for a little piece of Newfoundland, her iceberg series and little urchins won't disappoint.

Alexis makes wonderful pottery, so much so that Raymonds, one of the finest restaurants in all of North America uses it as its place setting.

Alexis is a working studio potter whose workshop and showroom are right in the historic districts of St-John's. There is parking right out front. Wonderful treasures form herself and a few other artists and beautiful chocolates. Perfect place to stop for a gift purchase for others of for yourself.

Alexis is a true treasure in the city of St. John's. She holds events in her studio where you get a hands on experience with her craft. Exquisite clay pieces of all sizes available for sale. Look for her salt fish series and her iceberg plates, amongst other beauties. Watch for her March of Mugs event and the Feast of Pottery.
