What a great day we had on the water. The scenery was awesome. We seen whales , eagles and a school of porpoises that had surrounded the boat on our way to catch some cod fish .
We caught our limit of fish and headed back to the wharf where Mike did all the cleaning and filleting of the fish .
It was a excellent day and we’ll definitely be doing it again soon .

Had the opportunity to do 2 excursion on the Tammy Joe and both were fantastic!
Our first experience was cod fishing out of Quidi Vidi, the sea wasn't overly friendly that day but our captain was determined to get us our fish. Within an hour we had pulled in our quota of very large cod and were heading back for an afternoon of relaxation at the pier and a meal of wonderful fresh fish - which Mike cleaned and filleted for us.
We also had the opportunity to do a day trip with Mike last summer, from CBS to Brigus, the water was calm and the temperature was nice and warm. Mike brought along his sea-doo and we all took turns to have a little fun! Once we got to Brigus we docked just outside the harbor and had a BBQ. On our way back we even saw a whale! It was a fabulous day!
Mike is a great captain and it's quite clear he loves to be on the water - don't hesitate to take advantage of a day out with him if you have the opportunity.

We had a great time with Mike. He’s friendly and conscientious; ensuring we had a good time and stayed safe on the water. The fishing was great and he filleted them for us on the wharf!

We spent a great afternoon on the water with Mike during the long weekend in September. We caught codfish which he filleted for us. We had great weather and Mike brought his seadoo along so we could take turns having a ride. It was a lot of fun and a day I won’t soon forget. Thanks for your hospitality and knowledge. I will be booking again this coming summer!

What a great day on the Bay!! We had an amazing time cruising around Conception Bay with Captain Mike!! He is an exceptional tour guide and we were treated like family. Me and my dog even got to go swimming in the ocean near the coast. On our way back to port we saw a huge sunfish!!! What an exciting time. It was the best day ever! Thank You Mike for the awesome time!!

I have had many trips on the water with Mike. Always fun times. Great catches of cod and awesome whale sightings in season. You won’t go wrong booking your trip with him.

Captain Mike was fantastic! He brought a lot of energy and humour to our group and made it an incredible day on the water for us. We caught quite a few really nice cod while enjoying the views of the beautiful coastline. We even got to see a shark swimming quite close to the boat while we were fishing. I would highly recommend working with Captain Mike and I would definitely sign back up with him on any return trip.

Awesome trip with an awesome captain. Mike was not just attentive to our every need but also a whole lot of fun. To sail out of beautiful St Johns Harbour through the narrows between Signal Hill and Fort Amherst and to look back at the breathtakingly rugged landscape amongst the whales and puffins while cod jigging is a trip everyone should take. You won’t be disappointed. I know I wasn’t!!!

Mike was a wonderful and cheerful host and skipper. In spite of inclimental weather we had a super time, beautiful ice bergs, cliffs and waves. Happy memories
