We went with our six year old on a week day and it seemed like we had the place to ourselves even though there were one or two class trips there. The displays were well done and informative. It was fairly hands on for kids.

The GEO Center has to be one of Newfoundlands and Canada's wonders! I visited many times and have never been disappointed. There are both displays and exhibits on the Earth and Space. You can visit a theater and learn about Newfoundland. There is a 550 million year old rock wall and you can get up close and personal. My favorite... More

My family and I came here for my nieces 6th birthday. We all had a great time, very educational! Titanic exhibit was awesome and the kids loved having hands on fun and played in the kid zone. Recommend doing the Intro film, which is 20 mins long, before entering the exhibits. It was good and had some fun surprises the... More

Went to visit today with my three grown children and my three grandchildren plus two seniors. We spend two hours perusing the rock formations, it was educational for all ages. The place was clean and tidy and the staff was pleasant, plenty of parking.

There was a group of 6 of us who went ranging in ages from 22-50 and we all throughly enjoyed it. It was very information with a lovely layout. They have an entire titanic exhibit which is huge and stunning to walk through. While reading and seeing everything you truly feel for these people, it's a strong exhibit. They also... More

I am a repeat visitor. There are so many interesting exhibits to see. My daughter was not bored... there was enough there to keep her interest, including a theatre. I love the architecture of the building... it's a beautiful venue.

This is a great spot for an afternoon out with the kids. The movie room plays educational yet interesting movies. Of course, the rock wall will likely be the most popular part of the day but there is a lot of opportunity for kids to learn while exploring the displays.
