You can truly feel the majesty of the ocean at this place, whether it is calm or not. Getting up for the first glimpse of the sun is an amazing experience.

My coworker took me here today and I was very impressed by the view. The tunnels are under construction and the stairs where blocked off on the back side but we manged to get around. great view

Visited in the summer when the capelin were Rollin. Saw several whales and many sea birds! Be sure to go on a bright day otherwise you run the risk of fog!

This is a lovely site to visit and the gift shop offers unique NL made gifts. It is a wonderful place to walk and see the ocean and from there a view of Signal Hill across the way. Parks Canada does a really good job...More

The cape spear lighthouse is one of canada's national historical sites. This is the most eastern point you can go in Canada! Located on blackhead road hwy 11 This is open during June and September. Ideal location for seeing the icebergs floating past!

Why wouldn’t you want to visit the Eastern most point in Canada?! Definitely make the trip up to Cape Spear NHS. This Parks Canada site is now closed for the season, but you can still visit and walk around. There are some great trails, lots...More

That I did not see. But before you head there you can eat at a few places a few miles away.
