What a beautiful and moving tribute to such a great person! The place where he started his journey with a goal to cross all of Canada, you can't help but be moved. Very well done job of honouring one of our heroes. A little tucked away, but well worth finding.

The Terry Fox Monument is most definitely worth a visit and touched my husband and I deeply. I could just imagine seeing him there dipping his foot into the ocean to begin Marathon of Hope, inspiring us even to this day to help find a cure for cancer!

This was such a touching monument. It made you stop and consider how much this young man gave to his country. It is not an easy place to find, the monument is hidden behind some Office Buildings. The only thing that I would have liked to been able to do would be to put my toes in the water like he did.

This park and statue is tucked away in a tiny corner by the water. But it is worth seeking out. The display is a very good memorial for a true Canadian hero. His story and legacy are amazing and inspirational.

Although not a top attraction in St. John's, this memorial is well conceived and designed, near the exact spot where Terry Fox dipped his leg in the Atlantic Ocean before beginning his run across Canada. Definitely worth a visit.

This was just a short walk from downtown and we really wanted to visit it. We did and it was very powerful to stand there in the same place he began his journey.
