My friend and I had been looking desperately for an Aurora tour that was more intimate since we hate crowds haha. I’m so so happy we stumbled upon this tour! Our guide was friendly, personable and made the whole evening so fun! If you don’t see the aurora, you’ll have a plethora of fur coats for a lil photo shoot, soup, bannock, and so many teas to drink! It’s cozy and with a smaller group, it was easy to share stories and enjoy the evening! I would redo this tour over and over if it wasn’t our last night there. Thanks again!

Whilst we didn't see the Aurora, we did have a truly wonderful and unique experience in Yellowknife. Tracy, our host, was incredibly knowledgeable and a wonderful story teller. She cooked us a delicious fish chowder and bannock and made us feel so welcome in her cozy hut. She was very generous with her time and went over and above in sharing what she loves about her town, country and heritage. I would definitely recommend this tour... thanks Tracy!

Tracy goes out of her way to offer a wonderful Aurora experience. Her cabin is cozy and warm and she makes delicious homemade soup, bannock, homemade jams and tea! Tracy also supplies a couple of tri-pods which was super helpful for us to stabilize the cellphone and get some wonderful photos of the Auroras. Tracy is really knowledgeable about the Auroras and the Yellowknife area - a highlight of our visit!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time on the Aurora tour with Tracy. Tracy gots above and beyond to make the Aurora tour fun, interesting and welcoming. Her cabin is super cozy and a delightful place to warm up - my daughter had so much fun trying on the various coats and hats; the soup, bannock, homemade jams and tea she fed us were delicious and Tracy helped us to set up our phones to take photos of the Auroras. We loved everything about the trip - thank you so much Tracy for such a memorable trip! And we got some wonderful photos of the Northern Lights :)

Had a wonderful evening enjoying the warm company of fellow aurora watchers. Tracy was a kind, thoughtful host who welcomed us into her cozy cabin with hot drinks and fun dress-up opportunities with warm/cultural attire.
As the cabin seemed more remote than other viewing locations, we were able to watch auroras just above us. Your mileage may vary when it comes to the light shows, but we've had successful viewings for the last few days (mid February).
Liked:
- Warm cabin, well kept and cute
- Delicious fish chowder and bannock was a perfect late evening meal
- Prime viewing location, though some trees in vicinity
- Opportunity to use provided tripods
- The cabin makes a nice background for the auroras, and don't need to walk far to view
Disliked:
- Not much to mention here, sometimes can take time to pick up or drop off a group (but bus is luxurious)
- Can get a little crowded in cabin when everyone is walking around
Overall, would highly recommend this experience for aurora viewing!

Thank You very much for the positive and wonderful comments. I do need to mention, due to an exceptional burst of last minute bookings I actually had more than normal in the cabin. I like to stay at 16 maximum, but yes does make it a little crowded with more than that. Thank You once again Tracy

Tracy made our trip to Yellowknife so worthwhile! We really enjoyed travelling out to her cabin, which was so thoughtfully created. It provides not only shelter from the extreme cold, but a cosy atmosphere to learn about the locals, the city and surrounds and its history. Tracy really made an effort to ensure we left Yellowknife having had the best experience possible.
This is a truly personal tour and I would highly recommend anyone looking to experience the aurora and all Yellowknife has to offer, to enlist Tracy as and her Intimate Aurora Tour.

Tracy you are AMAZING! You made our Yellowknife “bucket list” adventure not only amazing, but an experience that exceeded our wildest expectations. Our Cozy Cabin evening was just plain downright unbelievable. We enjoyed a wonderful, very intimate evening with Tracy in her Cozy Cabin waiting for our Aurora Borealis light show. Tracy is an amazing host! Warm, personable, friendly, and full of enthusiasm. Quite talented as well, we enjoyed homemade Bannock and fish chowder while Tracy shared stories of life in and around Yellowknife including recommendations on what to see and do during our week. About 1:30 am the “northern light show” began. What an adrenaline rush for everyone! Fantastic and spectacular are just two words that can hardly begin to describe the experience! Tracy helped us with our night time photography, and made sure we had photos of our amazing Aurora. We also did the ultimate Yellowknife City Tour with Tracy. Tracy “knows” Yellowknife and the wonderful people that live there. We live in South Carolina, the trip to Yellowknife to see the Aurora Borealis was a lifelong item on our bucket list. A trip to Yellowknife is now back on the list thanks to Tracy. The coldest places breed the warmest people. Tracy, thank you for who you are.

Both the city tour and Aurora experience were wonderful. Tracy has a wealth of knowledge to share about Yellowknife and she has created a beautiful cabin to host Aurora viewings. She is the consummate host. Loved it all.

Tracy with Bucket List Tours is the most amazing person! She allowed us to stay as long as we wanted to ensure we saw the Aurora. The Aurora came at about 130 in the morning and since we weren't on a time schedule, we were able to see the lights. She provided us with the most delicious food, warm drinks and the best experience possible! We were so lucky to book with her. I highly recommend Bucket List Tours! You will not be disappointed!
