This is modern winery restaurant shop and tasting wine bar - beautifully designed spacious high ceilinged with outdoor terrace and fire pit with wonderful views over the estuary.
We had a wonderful fresh greek salad as we wanted a light lunch but there many other options on the menu.
The service was efficient professional and informative We were told that their wines were quite acidic due to the terroir locally but shared a glass of their pinot noir which was rather nondescript if you judge it from a French and New Zealand pinot noir perspective.

My grandson's wedding ceremony and reception were at this vinyard. From the first moment of the rehearsal to the last dance on the wedding night, it could not have been "more perfect".

Beautiful property and excellent service. Stopped here for lunch, everyone was super friendly and the property had a very inviting feel to it. Lunch was delicious.
They had a wonderful gift/ wine shop onsite as well with plenty of parking.

Lunch at this place was excellent. Staff were outstanding. Food was top notch although the lunch menu was small. Pizza was outstanding. Muffuletta was not what I was expecting but good. Great view of Minas Basin -so peaceful. Nice to be able to go in and buy your wines to take home. It is a beautiful spot and well worth going.

Lovely venue . Attended a family wedding.Perfect day .Reception held in wine cellar. Tables were breathtaking.Food and service great. Lovely outside area with view.

The vineyard is really lovely, located qith a wonderful ocean view. The wines are rather good and the food at the restaurant is excellent qith a very nice vibe. A totally recommended activity in Wolfville!

Surrounded by lavender and herbs with a view of Cape Blomidon and the Minas Basin, this made our mid afternoon break fabulous! We dined on the patio and the food and wine were superb.
The antipasto dish was colorful and very plentiful. The salami pizza (Lightfoot farm salami) was absolutely delicious. The wines were their Flora and Fauna (I wanted the white and Hubby liked the red which paired well with the pizza.)
Following lunch, we ventured to their tasting room. Matt took care of us and his delight in talking "wine" and the knowledge he shared with us wasn't done in a pretentious way but with great infectious enthusiasm!
We ended our visit to this delightful winery laden with wine and a unique bottle of Chardonnay pears. Yum!
The staff from Host, Servers (Kenzie🙂) and of course, Matt🙂
are a credit to the hospitality industry and the winery is lucky to have hired these wonderful young people! Thank you...

Lightfoot vineyard & restaurant is an amazing spot, a definite highlight in Wolfville! Dine outdoors under the large white tent ( or on the grass on picnic tables if you have a pet with you) The view of the vineyards, Blomidon & the Minas Basin is fantastic! It is best to make a reservation & the food is definitely worth it. We were a group of seven & everyone had rave reviews of their food. The antipasto plate, the charcuterie & cheese, the chowder, the wood fired pizza, the wagyu burger & the tiramisu doughnut were all great! All staff were friendly & welcoming but Andrew , our server went above & beyond to guide us through choices & provide us with information on the immediate area & beyond. We definitely recommend at least one stop here!

This vineyard just outside Wolfville offers a glorious meal under a white tent overlooking row upon row of vines. My wife and I had the three course lunch which - for just $35 Canadian a head - is indecently good value. We started off with a fresh salad followed by a great wood-fired pizza and then dessert. I can’t think of a more pleasant way to spend an hour or two. Highly recommended.

We visited for an impromptu tasting. Wynne guided us through our tasting and was able to provide us with so much great information. The wine was delicious and unique. We left knowing more about the area and biodynamic wine making. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend a visit to this vineyard.
