Great piece of history well presented. Lovely setting thats most pleasant to walk around. Wish they sold posters of the 4 large colourful wall hangings that show the history of NS. So glad it's been preserved.

We stopped here unexpectantly and enjoyed walking around the grounds. Pretty with nice views of the bay. Plenty of signs that give the history of the fort.

We made a stop here on our way to somewhere else...traveling is like that. We were very happy we stopped as the history is rich and the site very well preserved.

Fort Anne was a beautifully maintained historical site. There were rooms full of interesting facts pertaining to the history of the Fort, area and peoples that inhabited it. It is definitely worth a visit when in Annapolis Royal.

We were lucky, it was a glorious sunny day, the light was beautiful. The history is fascinating and the fort is well maintained. On the edge you will have beautiful views over the water aswell

Beautiful vistas. It was wonderful to walk the outskirts of the fort ... Looking down the water and imaging days gone by. Canada 150 took care of the admission fee. We spent some reading the information inside the one building. It was interesting. The force...More

If you only want to walk on the site, with a leash, I think you can. But if you want a guide you better with no dog.
