This garden is very impressive. There aren't any signs nailed to trees like in other gardens. They have an impressive array of trees from all across N America and a huge variety of flowers and shrubs. If you like gardens, be prepared to spend several hours there.

A great place to wonder on a nice sunny day. Plenty of different plants and well laid out. It's more rewarding if you visit at the right time of year.

A world class garden that reminded me of Buchart garden in Victoria. Amazing color with annual and perennial flowers, all blooming, huge, in both country and formal settings. 17 acres with a rose garden, Victoria garden, arboretum, herb and “unusual” plants, to name a few. Lovely cafe. All the flowers and shrubs I have attempted to grow with much less successful results!

The gardens, although small, are beautiful and well maintained- We had planned to spend a couple of hours exploring, with a break at the cafe for refreshments, only to learn that it was closed to us for a private event- We stayed only an hour- Perhaps there should be a separate venue/location for private groups, given that the cafe is marketed as an “exclusive amenity for the Garden’s visitors” -

The gardens are beautiful and inspirational. I especially enjoyed the experimental garden which emphasizes innovative home gardening techniques. The gardens are nicely laid out and mostly wheel chair accessible.

Following our visit , we took a short drive to the waterfront and enjoyed some ice cream. The entire town is full of beautiful homes. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful gardens - so worth the price of admission! Lots of glorious walkways, and staff knew exactly where the best blooms were to be had!

perhaps gardens this far north need to be reviewed with a sympathetic eye. they gave us what they called a discounted ticket ($10 each) because the gardens were , in mid may, not quite ready. no doubt in late summer these gardens would show more. but how much more. it's just too cold for too much of the year to really have a great garden. i do appreciate the effort though.
