This is a wonderful garden experience. My wife and I took the one hour walking tour with a docent, and learned so much more than touring by ourselves. There is rich history in the gardens; our docent described how the various gardens developed around local history and described in detail several gardens and their specific species. There are over seventeen... More

My wife always wants to go to the local gardens when we travel. I like them also, just not as much as her. This one was the exception. The grounds were clean. The pathways were very well planned. The plants were very well attended to. We just missed peak season and it was still amazing.

The gardens consist of flowers, grasses, trees, shrubs and beautiful sculptures that seem perfect in their locations throughout. There is a... More

The gardens were beautiful even in the fall in the drizzle. Roses were still blooming and there was a fantastic garden with a variety of bright colors. Walking on the dykes was interesting and educational.

This is a must see, when you are in the area. The friendly staff will answer your questions and help with your decision of where to walk. The entire walk can be in 1/2 hour, but suggest you stop and smell the posies. The swampy area is interesting, just don't forget to close the gate. The Acadian influence is also... More

Gorgeous design, park-like setting, and a unique dike walk with signs explaining how the land was reclaimed. If you like gardens, this is definitely for you.
