Nice - and two minutes from what you really came to see

In a pretty park next to the historic downtown, this is worth the two-minute side excursion. It isn't uniquely pretty but it worth seeing as long as you're there.

Was under rehab - Town location, good photos with water in background and easy to access. Can miss, easy to spot.

We took the boardwalk in Annapolis Royal & were delighted to find this adorable and traditional light house. The boardwalk is a great vantage point to view the river and the ever changing tides. You can also enjoy the Cairn (or even create one yourself) along the way. Great photo ops at light house and boardwalk.

The lighthouse was under reconstruction when we visited. Nice to see the attempts to maintain these structure is ongoing. You do see many of these in the region. There is a lovely boardwalk for photo-opps.

Being fixed up right now but you can read about it on the signage, and one of the tours at 11am daily in the summer talks more about it.

Walked past the lighthouse a few times as it's currently under renovation. Good to see it being maintained though and look forward to seeing the work completed.

So cute and tiny you assume it is fake, but no, it really is a lighthouse. Or rather was, it is undergoing repair at present. On the Main st by the water, of course.

It's a lighthouse and it was under construction or should I say reconstruction. Nothing stands out about the structure otherwise. You see so many of these in the region, there was nothing notable about this one.

The Annapolis Royal Lighthouse is on St. George Street and in July, 2016 has staging for repair. The lighthouse is really beautiful and one of the smallest we have ever seen but probably one of our favorite since it is right in the small town and can be accessed by walking in the town of Annapolis Royal. There is a... More

Although this is a quaint, well maintained (under refurbishment in July 2016) and historic structure, it is not worth a special trip. If in town, 2-3 minutes should do it.
