This was our favourite trail. 9 odd kilometres of exceptional views and it was well maintained. There are a couple of rougher patches but easy for experienced hikers. A large fenced in area showed the difference that moose make in that area. Make sure to...More

We walked the entire loop of the trail on an exceptionally windy day in October. We walked first on the west side (the side with boardwalks, easier) then looped to the east side (rocks, a bit more difficult). It took us fit people over two...More

An easy walk to a breathtaking view, lots of stairs, but you don't have to climb them to enjoy the sights. We were warned not to go if there was fog- good advice. No moose.

This trail was better than our already high expectations. We heard that it can be quite crowded during the summer months, but we visited in mid-September, and while we ran into numerous other hikers, it did not feel a bit crowded. We saw moose twice...More

Loved it.. great groomed trail with a spectacular view ... we chose to stay on the same trail on our way back but you can go around and on a little rougher Trail. Would certainly do it again. ❤️

We have wanted to do the Skyline for a few years and finally did it this summer! The trail is easy, accessible and takes under an hour one way, depending on how fast you walk in. Benches along the way, it's a well groomed trail....More

It takes a few hours to hike the trail if you go at a reasonable pace. There is a loop option, if short on time, skip the loop and save a good 45 minutes and go out and back on the trail to the left....More

TripAdvisor has this trail in the wrong part of Cape Breton. Do not use the TA map to find this trail! It’s an awesome walk, though - be sure to Google it.
