A must go-again place. The view is unforgettable. And when I showed friends the photos I took there, they all say that's unbelievable, but I know the real feel when you stand on that spot overthere is much better.

Every time we go to the Cape we have to go to the Highlands and hike the Skyline Trail. The approximately 4 1/2 mile round trip is relatively easy with smooth trail surface and gentle slopes. We always see something new each time we hike...More

simply amazing! Easy hike/walk and quite rewarding once you reach the end. You get an amazing view of the coastal drive on one side and the ocean on the other. Cape Breton is a must!

Excellent trail...a must do. Moderate but leave a good 3 hours! Views spectacular and moose sightings very likely. Bring a camera!

Two options here, walk in to the lookout point and walk back or walk the full loop. We walked the full loop, around 9km. It's a pretty easy trail in terms of terrain. We were told at the visitor info booth the hike the trail...More

Great hike for all fitness levels. It was very well maintained and flat. We saw two moose (which was amazing!) and there was a coyote warning, which is something to be aware of. I loved seeing the Atlantic in its wild glory. It's a stunning...More

Due to the construction going on here for a new parking lot, it is a 10 minute walk from the parking area to the start of the trail. We started the trail (doing the loop version) at 9:15 and finished at noon. The loop trail...More
