We will not forget this beautiful area of Canada. The view from the "look offs", the fresh air, the amazing mountains and exciting driving experience are something that everyone should experience.

Rode the Cabot Trail with Pedal & Sea Adventure on a road bike. Great trip- wonderful scenery, good weather, cars are very considerate on the road, & lodging great.

The Cabot trail has some fantastic coastal scenery, but the inland areas are less wonderful: Canada does have a lot of trees. The distance travelled per good view gained may come as something of a disappointment to Europeans used to driving around areas such as...More

Beautiful scenery, good highway and a pleasant way to see the area. Not sure I would like to do this on a stormy day, but we happened to hit it with warm weather and little breeze. Great.

The Cabot trail is the must do for a trip to Cape Breton. It was a really beautiful drive through some stunning country-side. I can see spending a few days wandering there.

We did the drive over 3 days so that we could hike some of the trails in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The skyline trail is a "must do". We had a beautifully sunny day that day - I could have spent all afternoon...More

It will be quite chilly. But I think the trails should still be accessible if hiking is your thing. You may also have a good chance of seeing moose and deer (be careful)! We stayed in Baddeck and we took one day to... More

Anything comfortable - it sometimes gets chilly so you probably need some jackets and sweaters. However, I did pretty well in spring with just leggings and some long sleeved shirts + jackets. If you're looking to hike you... More

I would like to stay in Baddeck, a small cute town where Alexander Bell lived. Google it. I love it. Wish you have a fantastic trip in Canada's East Coast. Sorry about the late reply.
