We drove the Cabot Trail with relatives from Cheticamp. Left at 8PM and returned at 8:30PM. What an amazing experience. Beautiful views, wildlife and terrific restaurants. Take a camera!

The trail is beautiful; wonderful views, quaint towns and some interesting craft stores along the way. Be prepared to do a lot of driving. There is no internal roadways so wherever you go, you have to go around the coast road.

Stayed around Margaree Harbor and only had one day to tour. We were completely amazed and awe-struck with the scenery! Having driven the Oregon Coast last year, we though it would be similar. Kind of started out that way, but then it became just amazing...More

We hiked skyline trail and saw a female moose. She was enormous, but kind enough to let us take pictures of her for about ten minutes. What an amazing animal. When we reached the skyline outlook, the fog blocked our view, but we still enjoyed...More

Words don't do it justice, pictures won't do it justice. You have to see this place! Beautiful coastal vistas. There is a fee for the Highlands National Park but well worth it. Suggest spending more than one day and taking the time to dally along...More

The scenery is unbelievable. It was a bit foggy when we start our day: however, the fog makes the mountains more mystery and better photo opportunities. When we hit Cape Breton Provincial Park, those sceneries are beyond anything I see. I took a lot of...More

The Cabot Trail is both scenic and exciting to see. The winding road and breathtaking scenery is beyond compare and travelling by motorbike is a wonderful way to see it. We stopped along the trail for photos and to eat, and to explore some of...More

It was cool at 10am so we wore clothing layers. The weather varied: dense fog, sunshine bursts, clouds, bright blue sky, and light fog without a drop of rain on our parade. The visuals: farms, rolling hills, winding roads, fishing towns, rocky cliffs, forests. The...More
